[name_f]Sadhbh[/name_f] [name_f]Aine[/name_f] Fitzgibbon [31] is Fiadh’s older sister and aunt to young [name_u]Corey[/name_u], although it was Sadhbh’s egg who helped bring the girl into the world. Donating the egg felt naturally to her, ever since she was a child she’s never had any maternal desires for children. She has not problem with kids, she adores her niece, she just doesn’t want any of her own. But she knew her sister did so the fact that she was unable to conceive with her own eggs felt so unfair. It was actually Sadhbh’s idea to donate her own egg. She had been told by her GYN that she actually had an abundance of eggs and would have a high chance of multiples if she ever chose to have biological kids. A thought that was a bit scary for a woman who absolutely wanted no kids at all. “Might as well put them to good use, they’re just collecting dust right now.” she had said when she offered to donate to her sister.
It also felt like balancing her karmic levels after [name_f]Fiadh[/name_f] had donated her blood to [name_f]Sadhbh[/name_f] after the older sister had been in a fairly catastrophic car accident. She was hemorrhaging so badly that the hospital was nearly out of her blood type, so Faidh stepped in to help.
Sadhbh’s job allows for her to be able to take a lot of time off, so she’s able to spend a lot of time with her sister and niece. Due to Faidh’s busy work schedule sometimes she’s the one who ends up watching over her and the two are pretty much thick as thieves. Some people ask her if being so close to [name_u]Corey[/name_u] makes her feel more motherly, or make her want children of her own, but [name_f]Sadhbh[/name_f] if firm in her choice to not have any kids of her own. She’s also volunteered to donate her eggs to her sister again should she make the choice to want more kids.
