I love these games so I decided to create another one! I’ll put the bio, name, and picture of a person and then the next person will do the same for someone related to my character. And they don’t have to be blood related.
Daphne Joy " DJ " Wilkinson (22) is a recent college graduate who got a job at her family’s editing company a few months ago. Although she loves working there she hopes to write her own book someday but has some doubts about whether she can or not. DJ has made a couple of friends at the company and she’s glad they’ve fit in wonderfully with her diverse friend group.
Daphne is also quite close with her younger sister despite their sizable age gap and enjoys spending time with her. She has always loved rock climbing and introduced her sister to it so they do that together quite often. The only person that even comes close to the relationship with her sister is her best friend. The two of them have been friends since childhood and they’re always there for each other. This is why DJ has only told them about her situationship with her dad’s right-hand man in the company and the fact that she kind of wants to turn it into something more serious.
Daphne has recently been trying to mend her strained relationship with her mom who had been away on business more often than not during her childhood. She sometimes feels a bit jealous of her sister since their mom has always been there for her but doesn’t let that taint her and her sister’s relationship. DJ has some abandonment issues because of this but her friends and her dad have always been there to help her.
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_m]Wilkinson[/name_m] (14) is the younger sister of [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]. She’s a very athletic girl and loves rock climbing, finding it to be the only peaceful thing in her life, mainly because she associates it with [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]. She loves her parents and lives to make them proud, but often finds herself disappointed- she’s an athlete and her parents, despite loving their daughter and supporting her whatever she does in life, are more passionate about books. [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is a soccer player- she loves it, everything about it, the wind in her hair, the grass brushing against her legs, and most importantly seeing her friends who are on her team. [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is glad that her parents support her passion but wishes they were more involved it it- but she tries not to let it get to her. She’s got many friends on her team- [name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] live in a very suburban sort of community and two of the girls on the team with [name_f]Iris[/name_f] are dating and [name_f]Iris[/name_f] knows that some people in their town are very bigoted so she tries to help them cover up their relationship so their parents won’t find out- one of the girls is best friends with [name_f]Iris[/name_f] since kindergarten so she’s extra helpful- or she tries to be.
Apart from soccer as a pasttime, [name_f]Iris[/name_f] works at the local snowcone shop- she scoops the ice into the paper cones, and squirts the dye into the ice. There’s a few flavors- cherry, blue raspberry, and strawberry- the first being Iris’ favorite. She enjoys working her part time job but one of her friends is in there, who is also on the soccer team (but not the one dating), who has also been best friends with [name_f]Iris[/name_f] and her other friend since kindergarten. [name_f]Iris[/name_f] loves this friend (platonically of course), but this friend is becoming toxic and standoffish and [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is not only a bit annoyed by it, but also quite worried- little does [name_f]Iris[/name_f] know that this friend has something going on at home, but this friend is trying not to let it get out as when you live on a small town and everyone knows everything about everybody, you try your best to keep quiet even though everyone (mostly) has good intentions…
[name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_u]Camille[/name_u] [name_m]Borden[/name_m] (15) is Iris’s best friend and frequent employee at the snow cone shop. She is very bouncy and energetic which comes in handy when playing soccer. She doesn’t like to associate with her family anymore after her mother remarried to her abusive father and relays on [name_f]Iris[/name_f] to help her through this tough time in her life.
As of now, [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] lives with her older brother whom she adores thoroughly. Her brother is the bassist for his band in which [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] has been practicing to become the violinist. Her passion for music has branched out further in the past few years after taking up violin after inheriting her great uncles vintage 1935 violin, becoming of her most prized possessions.
After High School, [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] aspires to become a music teacher incorporating her passions for music and helping others. Using the extra money from her job to later pay for schooling and college means that she will no longer have to pay out student loans post-schooling.
[name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] " [name_u]Nat[/name_u] " [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Borden[/name_m] (23) is Juliette’s older brother and one of Daphne’s friends. He hates that his mother put [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] into a toxic situation by remarrying their father and eagerly agreed to his sister coming to live with him. He enjoys being in the band with the three out of five friends of his and Daphne’s and he’s happy about living his dream. With [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] living with him though he’s picked up a few shifts at a local mechanic shop to better provide for her since their mom has all but refused to.
[name_u]Nat[/name_u] is a friendly guy though a bit shy around new people and is always down to hang out with his friends. He tends to be the shoulder that everyone wants to cry on because he’s great at keeping secrets and has an approachable aura about him. He’s a very observant guy and has noticed something different about [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] but is content with waiting until she’s ready to open up about it.
Kaida Chisaka (26) is Nat’s band’s manager. She loves her job and is extremely hard working. When she isn’t running around organzing the lives of others, she loves writing poetry. Her secret aspiration is to publish a book of her poems under her pseudonym- Homare Nuwa.
Outspoken, she can be considered brash but has recently struck up an unexpected friendship with the young [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] and [name_f]Iris[/name_f]. She feels quite motherly to the two girls. They like to hang out and get coffee after band practice sometimes. They ask for advice on everything! Fashion, diets, prospective significant others… It is a welcome change, being the youngest of three siblings.
[name_f]Varvara[/name_f] [name_f]Petrovna[/name_f] " Vee " Andropova (22) is one of Nat’s friends and in the band with him. She has proposed to name themselves The Forestwalkers due to their folk punk roots, but she knows that everyone’s still trying to come up with a name and hopes they pick hers. While [name_u]Nat[/name_u] is the face of the band, Vee is the band’s drummer. Vee has been in previous bands before, but they never really went to a stage where they got a manager. A recent college graduate with a degree in music, Vee hopes that her joining a band will prove to her Russian parents that she is serious about her aspirations.
Vee comes from a family of doctors. Her mother is a neurosurgeon, her dad a paediatrician, and her older brother is in his final year of residency. Vee had gone through pre-med preparations until she realised in junior year of high school that she didn’t want to be a doctor. Sure, she had the brains for it, and blood didn’t scare her, but she had no passion for it. Considering what her parents see every day, Vee decided that continuing pre-med would make her incredibly unhappy down the line and managed to barely convince her parents to let her switch career paths. Her parents and her brother make passive-aggressive remarks about her lack of a secure job, but Vee’s vowing to prove them wrong.
Vee doesn’t live with her bandmates though— she lives with two friends she’s met at college. They all majored in different things: Vee’s a music major, one’s preparing to become a lawyer, and the other is a biology major. They have so much of everything in their house, and Vee loves how chaotic it is.
[name_f]Iva[/name_f] [name_f]Natasha[/name_f] Andropovna (21) is Vee’s younger cousin- but she’s very mature, so despite being younger than Vee, Vee always saw [name_f]Iva[/name_f] as an older cousin. [name_f]Iva[/name_f] was the first to get a boyfriend and start wearing makeup and Vee used to be jealous, but she soon caught up with [name_f]Iva[/name_f]. [name_f]Iva[/name_f] lives in [name_m]Baltimore[/name_m], [name_u]Maryland[/name_u], and her father is Vee’s father’s brother. Iva’s bilingual- an [name_f]English[/name_f] and Russian speaker, and she’s actually taken trips to Moscow and St.Petersburg as she’s interested in exploring that part of her culture. She’s got a penpal who lives in [name_f]Russia[/name_f] and thinks she might have a crush on her- but she hasn’t told anyone, as she’s scared they’re going to judge her. Iva’s omnisexual and has only told Vee before, because she knows that Vee will accept her. Iva’s family is very xenophobic in every aspect of life and she knows Vee’s is the same way- especially Vee’s older brother, who [name_f]Iva[/name_f] feels really uncomfortable around- she thinks he’s being immature about the doctor thing and [name_f]Iva[/name_f] encourages her cousin to follow her dreams.
[name_f]Iva[/name_f] recently graduated at the University of [name_u]Maryland[/name_u] and is now working as a preschool teacher/supervisor, to earn some more cash before she gets another degree- she wants to become a certified school teacher, because she wants to help impact childrens lives in a good way- she grew up in a toxic environment very similar to her cousin’s and she wants to help people who are growing up in that kind of situation, the way nobody did for her as she was younger. [name_f]Iva[/name_f] lives in a small apartment in Downtown [name_m]Baltimore[/name_m] alone, she keeps it that way by also working as a bartender and waitress at the local bar and pizza place down the corner. She has recently adopted a white kitten, who she’s named [name_f]Luna[/name_f], and she loves her dearly.
Soledad " Solaire " Hilaria Portales (22) is an acquaintance of Ira’s due to being one of Vee’s roommates. An international student, having been born in Mexico City, Solaire chose to study abroad to give herself more independence. She loves her family dearly but being the third of four children means she received a heaping of protectiveness from both her parents and her older siblings, so striking out on her own is something she’s desired for a while; but she’s clear there’s no resentment from her to her family and won’t let anyone talk poorly of or make assumptions about them. While her dad especially was anxious to see her go to a new place by herself, Solaire’s loving her new environment, and this has helped minimise stress back home, with her visiting over holiday periods (and sometimes as a surprise if she’s got some spare money from her job at an exotic animal rescue centre).
She’s the biology major of the trio, although truthfully she hasn’t decided on a specialist area of study yet and instead is exploring all her options. Solaire’s job is making her feel animals might be what she’s going to focus on, but absolutely nothing vet based, as she’s too sensitive to put down animals - having been devastated when her last family dog, Danilo, passed away when she was 16. Photos of their current dog - Ludmila the Springer Spaniel - are absolutely precious to Solaire, who will bombard her roommates with them at all hours; with Vee and their resident lawyer making her a collage for a joke gift at Christmas. There’s talk of them getting a pet to be co-owned by all three of them, but nothing’s been confirmed yet as they’d like to adopt one from the shelter where Solair works - probably an iguana or bearded dragon - but space needs to be made for accommodation.
While she jokes about having been put off dating due to her cousin having the most dramatic, chaotic and stressful wedding imaginable, Solaire started seeing someone recently and she’s found herself falling pretty hard. Her significant other is someone she feels comfortable being fully emotionally vulnerable around, as Solaire hates people considering her weak for how strongly she feels about things and one ex would make fun of her for it: leading to some creative nicknames being assigned by her friends when she explained this story. Solaire and Vee also might be matchmaking together too, as there were blatant sparks when a friend of her’s from Mexico came to visit and they met their lawyer roommate - but Solaire absolutely knows how stubborn her old friend is about admitting crushes and has enlisted Vee’s help to give her a chance at finding happiness.
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] Hyeri Ko (22) is the last member of Vee and Solaire’s trio and the pre-law student. [name_f]Stella[/name_f] was born in the U.S, but she lived in [name_u]South[/name_u] Korea and attended an international school for 12 years. The school she attended followed the American school curriculum, and she made friends in the states through summer camps and the like, but college was the first time [name_f]Stella[/name_f] was fully immersed in American culture. Before she went to her university, Stella’s parents fretted over sending their only daughter abroad— they knew discrimination was rife, and they hated the idea of [name_f]Stella[/name_f] fending for herself. Fortunately, [name_f]Stella[/name_f] met Solaire at the orientation for international students, and the two have been inseparable since. Stella’s parents were quickly placated by Solaire’s presence, and they have expressed their gratitude many times that [name_f]Stella[/name_f] found someone who she could rely on.
Incredibly opinionated, outspoken, passionate, and, in her own words, annoying, [name_f]Stella[/name_f] becoming a lawyer was only the natural order of things. Her parents’ jokes that [name_f]Stella[/name_f] didn’t have a first word— she had a first sentence— come from a half-truth: [name_f]Stella[/name_f] grew up incredibly curious and questioned nearly everything around her, which was both precocious and irksome, depending on who you asked. Any time anyone tried arguing with [name_f]Stella[/name_f] in elementary got bombarded with facts, and [name_f]Stella[/name_f] was brought to the principal’s office a multitude of times for being “rude” to the other students. Her parents decided their daughter needed an outlet, so they enrolled her in a debate academy back in Seoul, and she won multiple awards up until her senior year. [name_f]Stella[/name_f] was also on her school’s debate team and placed in the top three during all four high school years. Mock trial was only a recent development— [name_f]Stella[/name_f] joined in her junior year— but she discovered she liked the format and decided she might try becoming a lawyer. [name_f]Stella[/name_f] graduated as salutatorian of her grade with high honours.
The reveal of Solaire’s crush was Stella’s fault. As Solaire described the boy in front of her two roommates, [name_f]Stella[/name_f] put her lawyer skills into action to find the poor boy’s Instagram (to Solaire’s awe, horror, and chagrin). [name_f]Stella[/name_f] hasn’t told Solaire this yet, but the boy she’s crushing on is Stella’s cousin and her favourite worst enemy. [name_f]Stella[/name_f] and her cousin are the closest things to siblings without being actually siblings (Stella is a day older than him), and she’s heard through the family grapevine that he’s crushing on someone, too. [name_f]Stella[/name_f] plans on figuring out who her cousin’s crush is— and it better be Solaire.
Stella’s aversion to crushes comes from severe commitment issues. The idea of the idyllic family has never appealed to her— she wants to work and marry her career, not end up with children and be forced to stay home. Solaire’s old friend, though, threw a wrench in those plans: [name_f]Stella[/name_f] found herself daydreaming about coming home to them after a long day of work. Stella’s got a good poker face in debating and trials, but she can’t lie to her closest friends— which means both Vee and Solaire now have ample material to tease [name_f]Stella[/name_f] with.
Trinidad Rocio Mendez (22) is Solaire’s friend- and Stella’s crush. She grew up with Solaire and still lives in Mexico City, and chats with Solaire’s siblings on a daily basis. She really misses her friend, and takes trips to America a lot. She doesn’t know Stella likes her, but if she did know she’d be happy to date her- she’s outspoken, and passionate, which Trinidad really admires about her- Trinidad has severe social anxiety and has even had panic attacks when faced with social situations and arguments. Trinidad is majoring in literature- she doesn’t quite know what to do with her life but she knows she wants it to involve literacy. Librarian, Language Arts Teacher, anything involving books would be fine. Books were Trinidad’s only friend when she was younger besides Solaire.
Trinidad has a secret she doesn’t want anyone in the group to know: she had a daughter. Well, Solaire knows, but she isn’t supposed to tell anyone else because Trinidad fears that if Stella knows she won’t respect her anymore. Trinidad did not-so-smart things when she was younger and ended up giving birth to a little girl at the young age of 16 with her toxic boyfriend. Trinidad’s boyfriend (Trinidad’s bi) demanded she abort her baby, but Trinidad refused- her boyfriend lost two beautiful women that day. Trinidad’s very pro choice, and she supports any women who would’ve made the other decision in her place. He’s daughter is 4 now and Trinidad loves her to bits- Solaire’s siblings often babysit for Trinidad when she’s visiting America.
[name_f]Uxia[/name_f] [name_f]Milagros[/name_f] Portales (19) is Solaire’s sibling closest in age and her main confident regarding Trinidad’s feelings for [name_f]Stella[/name_f], partly because [name_f]Uxia[/name_f] has recently begun the process of moving to [name_u]Arizona[/name_u], after being offered an apprenticeship in the visual FX industry - something they’ve dreamed of since their preteens. What’s helped ease the anxieties of Uxia’s parents is they’re going to live with a close friend, who they’ve been penpals with since they were only 8, having met when their soon-to-be roommate was on holiday and have visited her several times over the years, strengthening their bond further. When they were younger, [name_f]Uxia[/name_f] did feel intimidated by Solaire’s academic prowess - especially as their dream career seemed much more flighty - but the two have always been incredibly close, and Solaire was the first person to encourage [name_f]Uxia[/name_f] to pursue apprenticeships once they began working on their own special effects projects and building an online portfolio. They’re also very grateful their parents have encouraged all their children to pursue their passions, and prioritise happiness, feeling more apprehension about being apart from the unit they know and treasure so much.
Being a homebody, [name_f]Uxia[/name_f] prefers sticking with what they know, joking about how their older siblings mistakes made them much more wary - but it entirely comes from a place of affection and isn’t serious. They’ve made a lot of plans as a means of not becoming distant from their friend group at home, including scheduling some trips, and the majority of them met before they turned ten years old; sticking it out through different schools, interests and more recently university applications. Thanks to their own dreams, [name_f]Uxia[/name_f] chose to not pursue higher education and instead worked at a health food café while creating special effects in their spare time, funding what they came up with through shifts. This did mean they spent less time with Trinidad’s daughter, but Uxia’s more confident taking a step back from childcare as it overwhelms them - another perk of being the baby they’ll tell you.
From a young age, Uxia’s been determined about crafts of every kind and alongside learning visual effects, they’re an avid jewelry maker who can also crochet and sew. They learned everything textiles based from their mom, who they absolutely adore, constantly offering to help at her wedding dress business on several occasions - granted you’re pressed if asking the siblings who loves their mother the most on account of how she encouraged all of them to embrace their passions.
Uxia’s oldest sibling will inherit her business and they’ve been very supportive of her, Solaire and their brother, who always looked out for them - as they’ve always been anxiously prone. It does surprise people how avid they are about horror, given they’re not someone who seems inclined towards it, but that’s the genre they hope to work in - having mastered everything gruesome and gory while working away at their craft. The supernatural fascinates them, but Uxia’s not particularly superstitious, in spite of being able to tell you everything feasible about their astrological sign.
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Esperanza[/name_f] Portales (25) is the oldest Portales sibling who lives in Mexico City with the rest of the family- she’s supportive of [name_f]Uxia[/name_f] moving but she’s trying to savor every last minute the two have as she knows she’ll really miss them and she’ll hate it without them in their city, let alone country. She knows [name_u]Trinidad[/name_u] had a baby at a young age and she wishes [name_u]Trinidad[/name_u] would’ve had her baby under better circumstances, though she knows it wasn’t Trinidad’s fault. [name_f]Ines[/name_f] is actually married, to a woman who’s been dating her since she was 14. The two have kids together. [name_f]Ines[/name_f] tried dating men when she was 11, 12 and 13 but she never felt attracted to men in her whole life- but she couldn’t take her eyes off of her best friend, who later moved up to the wife position. Their kids have been conceived through all different methods- but [name_f]Ines[/name_f] has never carried, as she has a condition called PCOS, and despite not being attracted to men [name_f]Ines[/name_f] always longed for the ability to carry a baby. However she still sees her babies as hers and loves them all equally, despite two being her niece/nephews through IVF and one being adopted at the age of 3, from another Spanish speaking country.
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] works at a restaurant as a waitress, and she hates her uniform (it’s all pink and flouncy with bows embroidered to the sides). She does it to provide for her wife, who works from home and also provides for the kids. [name_f]Ines[/name_f] sees it as worth it though, because she gets to come home to the most beautiful woman in the world (in her eyes). The two also have two fluffy white cats, one being named [name_f]Blanca[/name_f] and the other being named [name_f]Pepita[/name_f].
@kitkatcookie You’re wholesome. How do you maintain such goddess energy? MVP of this game too.
@wandering_willow I know it says (under the blurs) Trinidad’s daughter is 4 but if [name_u]Trinidad[/name_u] is 22, and had a daughter at 16, then her daughter would be 6. [name_m]Just[/name_m] felt like explaining that in case it looks inconsistent.
[name_f]Rosarita[/name_f] “ [name_f]Rosia[/name_f] “ [name_f]Marisa[/name_f] Mendez (6) is Ines’s niece and Trinidad’s daughter. She has a white teddy bear she loves to hug named [name_m]Frosti[/name_m]. [name_f]Rosia[/name_f] is babysat a lot by Trinidad’s siblings and considers them like coaches or mentors in her life. [name_u]Trinidad[/name_u] cut Rosia’s father out of her life and at the moment, [name_f]Rosia[/name_f] is too distracted with her family and friends and simply childhood life to worry. She knows she’s not the only child out there with a single parent — she has a best friend raised by a single mother, the sister of Ines’s wife. She loves pink and doesn’t understand Ines’s disdain for her work uniform but sees her point of view kinda but not really — to [name_f]Rosia[/name_f], [name_f]Ines[/name_f] doesn’t like that she always has to wear the same uniform to work every day, while [name_f]Rosia[/name_f] has multiple bouncy pink dresses! [name_m]Even[/name_m] though [name_f]Ines[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosia[/name_f] don’t see eye to eye on the dress issue, they’re close and [name_f]Ines[/name_f] loves seeing her sister-in-law bring her daughter for [name_f]Rosia[/name_f] to play with. [name_f]Ines[/name_f] hopes one day she can have a sweet child like [name_f]Rosia[/name_f], which [name_f]Rosia[/name_f] says “You just gotta believe”. While [name_f]Rosia[/name_f] sees [name_f]Uxia[/name_f] and the other Mendez sibling the least, she finds both of them highly intelligent and practical, “like wizards”. [name_f]Rosia[/name_f] has never met [name_f]Stella[/name_f] as [name_u]Trinidad[/name_u] hasn’t told anything about her but Stella’s always used her imagination as to imagine where [name_u]Trinidad[/name_u] goes and what she does when she’s not around.
[name_m]Benicio[/name_m] [name_m]Aliásar[/name_m] Portales (23) is the final sibling and only son born to his parents, as well as the unofficial uncle of [name_f]Rosie[/name_f]. Being the main male figure in her life means he finds himself providing alternate advise, specifically about the boys she attends school with, as [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] desperately wants to know how their minds work; which [name_m]Benicio[/name_m] finds the most precious thing imaginable, and he’s always happy to provide insights to the best of his ability. In spite of this, he’s clear about not acting like a surrogate father to [name_f]Rosie[/name_f], as he feels it’d overstep boundaries for [name_u]Trinidad[/name_u], nor does he want to dictate Rosie’s future feelings on the matter. At one point, [name_m]Benicio[/name_m] also considered travelling abroad for studies - his pick being [name_f]Barcelona[/name_f] instead of the US - but he ultimately decided against it after his best friend couldn’t find enough funding and he’d promised him that they’d go together, with [name_m]Benicio[/name_m] taking his promises very seriously. He isn’t resentful of Solaire or [name_f]Uxia[/name_f] for what they’ve pursued though, instead he couldn’t be happier for them, and does have plans on visiting - with his best friend serving as a plus one on the trip.
The two became friends when they were only six, meeting at a mutual friend’s birthday party, and have been inseparable ever since. Benicio’s best friend convinced him to pursue his dream of becoming an author, and although post-graduation he’s been working at a mechanics (serving as an administrator), he’s still writing plenty of stories in his spare time. He also still skateboards and goes caving, having a great interest in sports that involve social aspects, as being surrounded by those he’s close to is what helps [name_m]Benicio[/name_m] enjoy the activity so much more. When caving, he has a very level-headed approach though and is always the person who looks after friends new to it, as he’s got a lot of patience with and empathy for others, while being naturally encouraging in the same spirit. Sometimes [name_m]Benicio[/name_m] can be quite burned out because he’s constantly finding something to keep himself busy, but he considers it absolutely worthwhile for the memories these times grant, and no-one can talk down to him for being sentimental.
Recently, [name_m]Benicio[/name_m] started a long distance relationship with a girl who lives in Alburquerque, who he met through an online amateur authors group that regularly hosted zoom calls and encouraged members to share their work. He’s not properly dated since the first year of uni - a very short-term thing that neither party felt was going to involve serious commitment - and so it’s been a bit intimidating getting back into the game, but [name_m]Benicio[/name_m] feels strongly connected to his girlfriend and they’ve strongly bonded: both before they were together and subsequently since they became official. She’s the person he shares his writing with most freely, alongside his best friend of course, and [name_m]Benicio[/name_m] also has written tales for [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] to keep her entertained while her mom’s away. [name_m]Benicio[/name_m] finds inspiration easily, but finishing his stories is what’s trickiest, and he tends to go into a mini-burrow of his own when needing to finish something off.
[name_m]Diego[/name_m] [name_m]Marcelo[/name_m] Garza (22) is the best friend of [name_m]Benicio[/name_m], who’s secretly in love with him. [name_u]Ever[/name_u] since they were little, [name_m]Diego[/name_m] has been doodling pictures of [name_m]Benicio[/name_m] in his notebook- it was little stick figures of the two kissing at first and then [name_m]Diego[/name_m] graduated to doing hyperrealistic paintings, which he’s very proud of. He’s studying visual arts, and he hopes he can sell them someday. [name_m]Benicio[/name_m] always encourages [name_m]Diego[/name_m] and his passions, but [name_m]Diego[/name_m] just gets all flustered and thanks him bashfully- [name_m]Diego[/name_m] is terrified that [name_m]Benicio[/name_m] will notice his affections and tries to hide them- he even has a girlfriend to cover up his evident attraction to men. [name_m]Diego[/name_m] feels terrible for his fake girlfriend as she believes the relationship is real and loves [name_m]Diego[/name_m], but Diego’s heart belongs to [name_m]Benicio[/name_m]. [name_m]Diego[/name_m] knows [name_m]Benicio[/name_m] would support him but tell him he just considers [name_m]Diego[/name_m] as a friend, and that would break his heart so [name_m]Diego[/name_m] just keeps his love to himself and promises himself he’ll tell him someday, but for now he just loves [name_m]Benicio[/name_m] as a wonderful friend. [name_m]Diego[/name_m] felt terrible when the two couldn’t go to college in [name_f]Barcelona[/name_f] all because of him- [name_m]Diego[/name_m] urged [name_m]Benicio[/name_m] to go and pursue his dreams but he refused adamantly, which [name_m]Diego[/name_m] hated- he never likes feeling like a burden. [name_m]Diego[/name_m] grew up in poverty to parents who always placed this weight on his back, which scarred him mentally- luckily [name_m]Diego[/name_m] has dug himself out of poverty and now is fully happy, but sometimes he still looks back on those days and is so glad he got out. I mean, if [name_m]Diego[/name_m] can do that then he can do anything…including confess to [name_m]Benicio[/name_m], right?
[name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] " [name_f]Magda[/name_f] " [name_f]Siobhan[/name_f] Fitzcarron (23) is the girlfriend of [name_m]Benicio[/name_m] and unknowing obstacle where Diego’s feelings are concerned. [name_f]Poetry[/name_f] is what [name_f]Magda[/name_f] specialises in, but she loves reading the longer works of her boyfriend and others, currently being in the process of creating her own anthology from what she’s composed. Having a long distance relationship isn’t something she’s phased by, as Magda’s a very easygoing person who’s happy to accommodate others; although more recently she’s found herself missing the physical proximity with [name_m]Benicio[/name_m], and is planning on visiting him once she’s secured holiday time at the travel agency where she works (yes [name_f]Magda[/name_f] has heard every joke about this). Unbeknownst to [name_m]Diego[/name_m], the last relationship [name_f]Magda[/name_f] was in - for two years when she was 19-21 - was poly, however all three parties grew apart over time and went their separate ways, but Magda’s remained good friends with both of her ex-partners. She was actually worried about telling [name_m]Benicio[/name_m] this when their feelings shifted towards romantic - perhaps influenced by her poetry, which always has a touch of this - but he was completely accepting of this and has made it clear if [name_f]Magda[/name_f] wants to pursue polyamory again, it’s absolutely fine. Right now she doesn’t want to though, as forming their bond has meant the world to [name_f]Magda[/name_f], and she jokes about being selfish with [name_m]Benicio[/name_m] for the time being.
The main person she confides in, aside from [name_m]Benicio[/name_m], is her younger sister who [name_f]Magda[/name_f] was practically inseparable with growing up. Magda’s parents have always been protective people, as they lost their firstborn child - her late older brother - to SIDS, and it made them strict about safety until both their daughters were in their late teens. This is why writing became so important to [name_f]Magda[/name_f], as it allowed escpasim and excitement when she felt somewhat smothered; her notebooks becoming an outlet for her thoughts and feelings. She loves her parents dearly in spite of this - understanding what caused them to be so worried about her and her sister’s safety - but the independence of university allowed [name_f]Magda[/name_f] to flourish: not just creatively, but also in finding what makes her happiest. Pottery, live music and collecting prints are what she enjoys most, as well as caving funnily enough - which is what led to [name_f]Magda[/name_f] standing out initially to [name_m]Benicio[/name_m] when they started communing on the same forum. Currently she’s living in a small apartment, close to her sister’s student house, but doesn’t consider herself lonely thanks to her pets: axolotl [name_f]Peach[/name_f] and iguana [name_f]Emerald[/name_f]. In preperarion for her trip, Magda’s even composed a little poem for [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] - as the little girl’s been obsessively asking her uncle about his girlfriend, and she wants his unofficial niece to feel embraced alongside Benicio’s biological family.
[name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] [name_f]Ciara[/name_f] " [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] " Fitzcarron (18) is Magda’s younger sister and a (loving) thorn in Benicio’s side. Because of the five-year age gap between her and her older sister, [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] is used to being her sister’s shadow— their parents’ protectiveness rubbed off on [name_f]Magda[/name_f] and there was never a time where their relationship wasn’t good. One would think that would make the sisters codependent, but [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] disagrees. She plays the codependency up for jokes, though: [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] has made too many jokes about how [name_m]Benicio[/name_m] has stolen her older sister from her. In reality, [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] thinks [name_m]Benicio[/name_m] and [name_f]Magda[/name_f] are a very cute couple and hopes they end up getting married.
While [name_f]Magda[/name_f] managed to grow up understanding her parents’ overprotectiveness, [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] felt suffocated by them. As a way to cope, she spent a lot of her teenage years sneaking out of her house and being rebellious, often doing things just to spite her parents. What caused their parents to lighten up on the both of them was Gwen’s outburst— she finally told her parents that their strict rules didn’t make her a good child, it just made her a good liar. Since then, Gwen’s relationship with her parents has improved drastically and overall, the family dynamic has shifted into a healthier one.
Gwen’s stint of being a teenage dirtbag (coined by Magda), though, came with consequences. She became involved with the wrong crowd at the age of sixteen— she was friends with people who shouldn’t have been friends with sixteen year olds and thanks to [name_f]Magda[/name_f], managed to escape the toxic situation. Her best friend wasn’t so lucky: she’s stuck dating a physically and emotionally abusive man who sent her to the hospital on numerous occasions. [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] was also a victim of him as well— she tried pulling him off of her friend and ended up with a broken nose. She’s trying to get the authorities involved, but [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] fears what the man would do to her friend if he ever found out. [name_f]Magda[/name_f] has been an incredible help throughout this situation, and [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] is thankful that her sister can remind her to take breathers and not blame herself for something that isn’t her fault.
[name_f]Gwen[/name_f] lives with her girlfriend and their kitten, [name_f]Tiny[/name_f]. [name_f]Tiny[/name_f] was a stray they found at the side of the road and [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] insisted they took him in. Their university doesn’t let them have pets unless they’re an emotional support animal, but [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] and her girlfriend have done a very good job at hiding his existence.
