[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] " [name_f]Lizbeth[/name_f] " [name_f]Zara[/name_f] Velascon (30) [name_f][/name_f]- pictured with her son, [name_m]Reyes[/name_m] [name_m]Alexandru[/name_m] Velascon (4 months) [name_f][/name_f]- is a young woman Drifa met while in the hospital for Auroras’ delivery. [name_f]Lizbeth[/name_f] and her partner didn’t explicitly plan their own conception, which is why Drifa bonded with her, as her lack of judgement came from a much more personal place. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though Lizbeths’ been in her relationship for nine years, the adjustment has been steep in it’s own ways, and she wouldn’t judge anyone for making decisions like Drifas’.
[name_f][/name_f]A documentary filmmaker, [name_f]Lizbeth[/name_f] has chronicled her pregnancy, however not for the reasons usually associated with her routine. It’s not for anyone other than her, her partner, their son and loved one’s: a scrapbook of the journey she’s experienced. Her work primarily focuses on familial relationships, as things weren’t conventional for [name_f]Lizbeth[/name_f] growing up.
[name_f][/name_f]She was raised on a commune with her parents as their only child, and although there was an idyllic harmony with nature, [name_f]Lizbeth[/name_f] also witnessed a lot of adult conflict. There were constant hangups about finances and responsibilities, which led to tensions and arguments at sporadic periods. Lizbeths’ parents were so focused on keeping the peace, they didn’t have much time for her consequently, and so she entertained herself a lot of the time, becoming pretty lonely thanks to the age gaps between her and the other children living there.
[name_f][/name_f]When she was twelve she requested to attend boarding school, one her mother and aunt attended. This period wasn’t without issues either, but at least there was stability in how adults interacted with [name_f]Lizbeth[/name_f], and she felt less responsible for others emotions. [name_m]Reyes[/name_m] having a childhood that is purely his own is what’s most important to her, and she’s absolutely going to work her hardest to secure that.
