☀️ create a family with a twist

Amelot " [name_f]Lotte[/name_f] " [name_f]Yulia[/name_f] Vandeveer (28) is Vee’s colleague and the object of her affections, not that it’s occurred to her yet. A native of [name_u]South[/name_u] [name_f]Africa[/name_f], [name_f]Lotte[/name_f] grew up as an army brat, moving around for the careers of both of her parents, who met while serving. The background of the Vandeveer family is one [name_f]Lotte[/name_f] loves explaining to people, as it’s not what’s expected: Lotte’s dad is [name_m]Dutch[/name_m] while her mum’s a [name_u]New[/name_u] Yorker, so she finds it amusing how they have distinct accents, then she and her brother have completely different one’s. As their older child, [name_f]Lotte[/name_f] always took the lead in everything that intrigued her, always wanting to give every passion her absolute all. [name_f]Lotte[/name_f] was 8 when she became acquainted with acting, and it was love at first performance - her infamous debut as a sheep in her school nativity, which her parents got on video camera.

It was when she was in high school that it dawned on [name_f]Lotte[/name_f] how she wanted to pursue acting professionally, as she fully came into her own, landing major roles in her school productions and earning a role in a local ad campaign. With the encouragement of her mother, [name_f]Lotte[/name_f] moved to [name_u]New[/name_u] [name_u]York[/name_u] to attend acting school once she graduated, and here things began taking off. Her social circle pretty quickly consisted of fellow artists and performers, with [name_f]Lotte[/name_f] starring in just about anything: commercials; student projects; voice overs for the local radio stations - wanting to both cut her teeth and also establish her versatility and willingness to compromise.

It paid off majorly when she was 23. [name_f]Lotte[/name_f] was scouted to star in Mix & Twist, an indie comedy-drama being produced by an alumni of the college she went to, and she contacted [name_f]Lotte[/name_f] as they worked together as students: she accepted the part almost instantly after reading the script excerpt she was sent, and when the film caught a lot of interest, Lotte’s career ascended. The independent circuit is where she’s truly happiest, however she’s always expanding her horizons, continuing work as a voice actress and being involved in modelling alongside her mainstream career. After her current film finishes, Lotte’s flying out to [name_m]Montreal[/name_m] to star in a werewolf horror film written and produced by one of her closest friends, which she’s very excited about!

Open about her panromantic-demisexual identity, [name_f]Lotte[/name_f] actively campaigns for the LGTBQIA+ community, and is involved with several projects supporting young people. However she can be a little oblivious to people’s own feelings for her, and the last thing [name_f]Lotte[/name_f] would want is to ruin Vee’s long-standing relationship, which is why her co-stars interest has bypassed her attention. It may be for the best that [name_f]Lotte[/name_f] solely views Vee through a platonic lens, however should they continue hanging out, the issues Vee’s facing might not have a chance to fade away.
