[name_u]Happy[/name_u] [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] afternoon, my dear berries!
[name_f]My[/name_f] question today: what are some creative honour name options for G.e.o.r.g.i.n.a that you think fit my (our) style?
Context: this is my bestie’s name, and honestly, she’s basically my soul mate. If we ever have a girl, an honour name for her is extremely important to me.
Her middle name is already a favourite of mine and I’ve played with it in a couple of combos.
Now, she’s not the biggest fan of her first name, so there’s no need to use her name letter for letter, hence the challenge of being creative.
If it helps, she loves nature, art, books, and all things witchy.
I would propably go by using something like [name_f]Gia[/name_f] or [name_f]Gigi[/name_f] with a name that describes the meaning of [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] to you. For example names meaning friend:
[name_u]Or[/name_u] since she likes nature and witchy things maybe ‘elf friend’ [name_f]Alvina[/name_f] or [name_f]Elvina[/name_f] would be fitting
Then some names with different meaning i think would honor her could be:
[name_u]Kaya[/name_u] (=my elder sister)
[name_f]Adelpha[/name_f] (=beloved sister and genus for butterflies)
[name_f]Hortensia[/name_f] (=of the garden/gardener since [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] means farmer)
[name_f]Gaia[/name_f] (=earth mother)
[name_f]Ambrosia[/name_f] (=immortal +has a mystical/witchy feel to me)
[name_f]Amarantha[/name_f] (=immortal/unfading + same as above)
[name_f]Linnea[/name_f] (=a lovely twin flower that could symboloze you being soul mates)
[name_f]Sisko[/name_f] (=sister in Finnish)
[name_f]Aina[/name_f] (=always, forever in Finnish)
[name_u]Alma[/name_u] (= soul)
[name_f]Ginevra[/name_f] was my first thought! It’s literary, has a witchy vibe and has links to art!!
Some other ideas
[name_f]Gaia[/name_f] (similar look)
[name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] (a bit of a stretch but it has that or sound)
[name_f]Valentina[/name_f] (same ending)
[name_f]Geneva[/name_f] (linking to [name_f]Mary[/name_f] Shelley’s Frankenstein and sounds like her name)
[name_f]Evelina[/name_f] (same ending)
[name_f]Grainne[/name_f]
