Creepy Girl's Name?

So I’m writing a creepy little short story and I need a name that fits. Tempted to go with Endelyn, I like the sound of it and the “end” part would fit the theme. Maybe [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]? Wanted to maybe go with something celestial but they all sound so overused. Could go with something with a ‘z’ in it. [name_m]Ah[/name_m] I’m terrible at naming!

Ideas?

When I think slightly creepy girls names I think

[name_f]Calixta[/name_f]
[name_f]Violante[/name_f] or [name_f]Violanthe[/name_f]
[name_u]Salem[/name_u]
[name_f]Elizabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Zephyrine[/name_f]
[name_f]Celestia[/name_f]
[name_f]Thisbe[/name_f]
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Silence[/name_f]
[name_f]Raziela[/name_f]
[name_f]Demelza[/name_f]
[name_u]Seren[/name_u]
[name_f]Crimson[/name_f]
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Jezabel[/name_f]
Isolabella

First thing that came to mind was [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f]. Not necessarily creepy, but it sounds sort of mysterious to me.

[name_m]How[/name_m] about : [name_f]Dorcas[/name_f], [name_f]Hagar[/name_f], [name_f]Morgana[/name_f], [name_f]Elvira[/name_f]

The first name that came to my mind was [name_f]Mallory[/name_f].

The first name that came to my mind was [name_f]Bellatrix[/name_f], from [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m]. There’s a list somewhere of [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] names! Then my mind went to the Greek mythology names like Medusa, [name_f]Circe[/name_f], Hecate, and [name_f]Medea[/name_f] which would never be given to a real, live girl.

Endelyn is anything but subtle, although the futuristic “Ender’s Game” successfully used Ender. If your setting is contemporary, a better choice is an idealistic word name like [name_f]Autumn[/name_f], [name_u]Winter[/name_u], [name_u]December[/name_u], [name_f]Karma[/name_f], or [name_f]Solstice[/name_f]–all that point toward the end of the calendar year or cycle.

You can also use the “[name_f]Precious[/name_f]” word names like [name_f]Precious[/name_f], [name_f]Princess[/name_f], [name_f]Tiara[/name_f], or [name_u]Unique[/name_u] (spelled normally or stylishly like [name_f]Eunique[/name_f]).

Finally, consider a real, recognizable “red” name like [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_f]Garnet[/name_f], [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], or [name_f]Coral[/name_f], which when paired with a real surname like Youngblood, will sound very creepy. ([name_u]Burgundy[/name_u] and [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] will also work, but are less familiar, more exotic names in the US; [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] is VERY popular in the UK.)

Anything can be creepy, mostly elegant names like
[name_f]Victoria[/name_f]
[name_f]Veronica[/name_f]
[name_f]Seraphine[/name_f]/a
Evanlyn is another form of [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] seems a bit overused in this category
[name_f]Annika[/name_f]
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f]/Elowyn I personally like Elowyn better because the pronunciation is [name_f]EL[/name_f]-oh-wyn instead of el-OH-wen
[name_f]Lacey[/name_f] or [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] from your list could work
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]

[name_f]Minerva[/name_f], after the roman goddess. Among other things, she was the goddess of magic, and a very strong woman.

[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] would work. The first names names that came to mind were [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] and [name_u]Rosario[/name_u].

Thanks everyone for the input! I think I’ve just about found my name.
