I voted [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]. It sounds perfect, imo (see my sig, I’m totally biased. :p) My next choices would be [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] and [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f].
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Hermione[/name_f]'s beautiful! That would be my choice, followed by [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Frieda[/name_f]. [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] options…
@c@29 I love so many of the names in your sig! For a while I thought [name_f]Freya[/name_f] was my favourite one, but then started to doubt it, so I’m glad it’s up there for you too.
1st_on_the_way Thanks for your comment, it confirms what I have been feeling about [name_f]Freya[/name_f]
I absolutely love [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]! So gorgeous.
I love [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f], but I feel that [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] is a bit too much, sorry.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] to bits but unsure about [name_f]Freya[/name_f] (I have a couple of bad associations so it’s just me!)
Best of luck!
I couldn’t decide between [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] or [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u], but in the end I went for [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] because [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] is the name I like least of the four.
Runners up would be [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] and [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f].
You have great taste!
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] and [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] are my favorites. Wish I could vote for both, but [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] feels simply perfect.
Doesn’t [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] mean gold though? In which case meaning would be gold marigold?
My favorite is [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], followed by [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]. I don’t really love [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], but it flows really nicely with [name_f]Luna[/name_f], which I really like. I love [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] but it is a little lengthy with [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] (which I really like as well).
I voted for [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], but also love [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Hermione[/name_f].
God…
I love [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] AND [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]… They’re both so beautiful! I voted for [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] because I love the nickname options!
1 [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] - a majestic first name paired with a quirky mn choice. [name_f]Lovely[/name_f]
2 [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] - I like the look and sound of these two mythological names together.
3 Casilda [name_f]Ophelie[/name_f] - this underused saint name with the [name_m]French[/name_m] version of [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] is very pretty.
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] sounds like lunar [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] to me. I love [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] but there’s too much “ee” sound in the [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Frieda[/name_f] combo. [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] sounds fine but it’s too heavy on the “gold”.
I’m really glad you pointed that out! Maybe that’s why I subconsciously paired them.
Thankyou so much everyone - you have given me food for thought. I appreciate you telling me your runner-up name, gives me more of an idea of preferences.
@mischa thanks for your points about the combos you’re not keen on. You are right about too much ‘ee’ in the [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] one.
These are all great but my favorite is hands-down [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] - very warm, lovely, bright!
I voted for [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]. I love the quirky, free-spirited [name_f]Luna[/name_f] paired with the classic, stately [name_f]Margaret[/name_f].
It was agonizing to choose between [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] and [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u], but I had to go with [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u].
Thankyou so much!
I am wondering whether you like [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] more or less than [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]?
Funny, because that’s precisely what I didn’t like about that combo. [name_f]Luna[/name_f] is such a gentle name that I couldn’t bear putting it with a name as sharp as [name_f]Margaret[/name_f].
I voted for [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]- classy and a touch romantic but still solidly grounded. [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] doesn’t look as nice written out, but with the one less syllable it flows better to me. I almost picked [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]- it seems so fresh, nature-y ([name_f]Cressida[/name_f] makes me think of water and waves, I guess because the “cress” part is close to “crest”?), and magical. I’m not a fan of [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] though. If [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] or even [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] was an option I would have voted for it. I’m not a fan of [name_f]Luna[/name_f], [name_f]Freya[/name_f], or Casilda. I love [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] but not a fan of [name_f]Frieda[/name_f], maybe [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Freya[/name_f]?
