Critique my girl names

Hello berries! I am [name]Olympia[/name], new to nameberry. To be correct, I have searching through the site since winter but only registered today.
I am a big name lover as I write sometimes, I enjoy making name combos and these are my favorite girl names. Would you mind telling me your opinion?

[name]Ada[/name] [name]Wilhelmina[/name] with nickname [name]Will[/name] or [name]Minnie[/name] (I know some people who go by their middle names and think it’s fine)
[name]Wilhelmina[/name] [name]Jane[/name] or [name]Wilhelmina[/name] [name]Noa[/name] with nickname [name]Will[/name] or [name]Minnie[/name]
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Lilac[/name] with nickname [name]Annie[/name]
[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Agnes[/name] with nickname [name]Milly[/name]
[name]Myrtle[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Imogene[/name] with nickname [name]Vic[/name]
[name]Daphne[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name]

I love classic names and as I was obsessed with Greek myths as a child, I like mythological names too. I would be very glad to have some advice and name suggestions besides criticism, thank you.

Also, I would like to know if my names sound weird, “old lady” or ugly so I can correct them, thanks.

[name]Hi[/name]! Great list!

[name]Ada[/name] [name]Wilhelmina[/name] with nickname [name]Will[/name] or [name]Minnie[/name] (I know some people who go by their middle names and think it’s fine)- Very sweet! With [name]William[/name] being a top ten boys name I would go with [name]Billie[/name] instead of [name]Will[/name] as a nn. I also love the options of [name]Winnie[/name], [name]Willa[/name] and [name]Minka[/name] as nn possibilities.

[name]Wilhelmina[/name] [name]Jane[/name] or [name]Wilhelmina[/name] [name]Noa[/name] with nickname [name]Will[/name] or [name]Minnie[/name]- [name]Wilhelmina[/name] [name]Jane[/name] all the way! A great mix of frills and classic simplicity. Again if you want [name]Will[/name] as a nn I would go with [name]Willa[/name].

[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Lilac[/name] with nickname [name]Annie[/name]- I really like this! [name]Love[/name] [name]Lilac[/name] in the middle and the flow is great!

[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Agnes[/name] with nickname [name]Milly[/name]- I love this combo as well, so glad to see [name]Agnes[/name] getting some love!

[name]Myrtle[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name]- [name]Myrtle[/name] is still in the retirement home IMHO and not ready to be worn by a little girl yet, but [name]Cordelia[/name] is one of my ultimate favorite names, how about [name]Cordelia[/name] [name]Myrtle[/name] instead? Or [name]Laurel[/name] as an alternative to [name]Myrtle[/name]?

[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Imogene[/name] with nickname [name]Vic[/name]- I prefer [name]Imogen[/name] to [name]Imogene[/name] and [name]Vic[/name] isn’t my favorite nn option, could lead to the dated [name]Vickie[/name]. Other options are [name]Tori[/name], [name]Tora[/name], [name]Ria[/name], [name]Tia[/name]. I prefer [name]Imogen[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] nn [name]Immy[/name], [name]Gigi[/name], [name]Ginny[/name].

[name]Daphne[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name]- I love [name]Daphne[/name] but I don’t think this combo flows as well as the others. I would choose a mn starting w/ a consonant. [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Noa[/name] perhaps?

My favorites are [name]Wilhelmina[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Lilac[/name] and [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Agnes[/name]!

Hello [name]Olympia[/name] and welcome to nameberry! By the way, I love your own name, it’s so pretty.

[name]Ada[/name] [name]Wilhelmina[/name] with nickname [name]Will[/name] or [name]Minnie[/name] (I know some people who go by their middle names and think it’s fine) - hmm, not bad at all though yet not perfect. I like [name]Wilhelmina[/name], not so sure of it flows with [name]Ada[/name] since they both end in -a.
[name]Wilhelmina[/name] [name]Jane[/name] or [name]Wilhelmina[/name] [name]Noa[/name] with nickname [name]Will[/name] or [name]Minnie[/name] - I love [name]Wilhelmina[/name] [name]Noa[/name]! Sound very Dutch and beautiful, well done. [name]Wilhelmina[/name] [name]Jane[/name] is also pretty but not as sophisticated as [name]Noa[/name] combo.
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Lilac[/name] with nickname [name]Annie[/name] - [name]Georgiana[/name] and [name]Lilac[/name] are too different to go together in my opinion so I don’t like this one. [name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Lily[/name] maybe?
[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Agnes[/name] with nickname [name]Milly[/name] - very pretty, probably my favorite, although I am not a fan of these names separately.
[name]Myrtle[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name] - love [name]Myrtle[/name], it’s pretty good with [name]Cordelia[/name].
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Imogene[/name] with nickname [name]Vic[/name] - obviously I like this:) I would spell [name]Imogene[/name] without -e in the end.
[name]Daphne[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name] - nice. I don’t love Daphe but it goes with [name]Adelaide[/name].
OK, here are my suggestions:

Thank you ladies who replied!
1)kashed22: I like [name]Minka[/name] as a nickname for [name]Wilhelmina[/name]. [name]Billie[/name] isn’t my style but thanks for the idea; I do also like reversed [name]Cordelia[/name] [name]Myrtle[/name] and [name]Laurel[/name] is a good name; I would like to use [name]Victoria[/name] as a full name but [name]Tia[/name] and [name]Ria[/name] are wonderful nickname ideas, thank you for sharing; [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Noa[/name] is good too.
2)mclevine: I am not fond of [name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Lily[/name] but I appreciate your help. From names you suggested I add [name]Aemilia[/name]. [name]Clementine[/name], [name]Freya[/name], [name]Ivy[/name], [name]Rosalind[/name], [name]Selen[/name] and [name]Viola[/name] to my list, thanks.

[name]Welcome[/name] to Nameberry

[name]Ada[/name] [name]Wilhelmina[/name] - I don’t like two names ending in the same manner (a’s) in a combo. [name]Ada[/name] [name]Wilhelmine[/name] or [name]Ada[/name] [name]Seraphine[/name] would be fine.
[name]Wilhelmina[/name] [name]Jane[/name] - this is fine. I like the longer first name with the short, sweet and simple mn. [name]Wilhelmina[/name] [name]Noa[/name] both end in “a”
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Lilac[/name]- This is lovely. The elegant and ladylike fn with the quirky flower name in the middle spot.
[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Agnes[/name] - I prefer the French pronunciation of Agnès (ahn-yes) to the English. [name]Emmeline[/name] is very pretty. Another option is the softer Inès (ee-NES).
[name]Myrtle[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name] - I love names with vintage charm but I’m afraild [name]Myrtle[/name] isn’t one of them. It’s in the same boat as [name]Bertha[/name], [name]Beulah[/name], [name]Gertrude[/name], [name]Gladys[/name] and her frumpy sisters. It’s not ready to come back any time soon. [name]Cordelia[/name] is a fine Shakespearean name. [name]Do[/name] you like [name]Millicent[/name] or [name]Mabel[/name]?
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Imogene[/name] - [name]Victoria[/name] is a classic name but I don’t like the nn’s for it. The Shakespearean [name]Imogen[/name] sounds better.
[name]Daphne[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name] - too many hard d’s in this combo. I like [name]Daphne[/name]. You may also like [name]Phoebe[/name], [name]Persephone[/name], [name]Penelope[/name] and [name]Calliope[/name].

What a nice bunch of name candy!! love love love.

Favorites include : wilhelmina, georgiana, and emmeline.

the only one of the bunch I do not like at all is myrtle. it DEFINITELY sounds old lady, and a bit frumpy. cordelia far outshines it!

i like your style a lot!

[name]Welcome[/name] to Nameberry! Your list is very nice.
[name]Ada[/name] [name]Wilhelmina[/name]- very pretty, vintage
[name]Wilhelmina[/name] [name]Jane[/name] - [name]Minnie[/name], but I don’t like this combo as much
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Lilac[/name]- Stunning, love nn [name]Annie[/name]
[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Agnes[/name]- [name]Love[/name] [name]Emmeline[/name], not [name]Agnes[/name]
[name]Myrtle[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name]- I would use [name]Cordelia[/name] [name]Myrtle[/name].
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Imogene[/name]- Very nice! Prefer [name]Imogen[/name], nn [name]Tori[/name] or [name]Tia[/name].
[name]Daphne[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name]- [name]Love[/name] this combo.

[name]Welcome[/name] to Nameberry!

I like [name]Wilhelmina[/name] [name]Jane[/name] the best out of all the [name]Wilhelmina[/name]. [name]Wilhelmina[/name] is on my own favorites with the nickname [name]Mina[/name].
[name]Ada[/name] is fine but I prefer putting the name you want to call the person first. It’s just my opinion.
[name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Lilac[/name] I like this combo, but not so much with [name]Annie[/name] as a nickname.
[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Agnes[/name] with nickname [name]Milly[/name] with [name]Em[/name]- names being so common it’s a good to have an alternative nickname. The one thing I can think of to criticize is [name]Milly[/name] and [name]Minnie[/name] do not sound good as sisters. I would pick one when you are actually having children. (But keep both on your list if having kids is a long way off.)

I like [name]Cordelia[/name]. [name]Myrtle[/name] makes me think of Moaning [name]Myrtle[/name]. (not the best association)

[name]Victoria[/name] is a refreshing non-nameberry name that can still work. Be prepared for other nicknames to happen (from friends etc.). I like [name]Imogen[/name], but it’s nameberry/ name nerd often used here. I’m little [name]Imogen[/name]-ed out after seeing it on so many lists, but I like the combo the way you have it [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Imogene[/name].

[name]Daphne[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name]. [name]Both[/name] of these are on my favorites. [name]Daphne[/name] may get popular though if you care about that.

All in all, some lovely names!

Good [name]Luck[/name]!

[name]Welcome[/name] to Nameberry [name]Olympia[/name]! [name]May[/name] I just say I [name]LOVE[/name] your name?

You have a beautiful list here. I pretty much love every name on it (except [name]Myrtle[/name]). My favorites are [name]Wilhelmina[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Lilac[/name] and [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name].

I suggest…

[name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Iris[/name]
[name]Aurelia[/name]
[name]Echo[/name] (too much?)
[name]Gaia[/name]
[name]Thalassa[/name]
[name]Magdalene[/name]
[name]Maddalena[/name]
[name]Rhiannon[/name]
[name]Eloise[/name]
[name]Beatrix[/name]
[name]Isadora[/name]
[name]Theodora[/name]
[name]Theodosia[/name]
[name]Minerva[/name] (you can use [name]Minnie[/name] here too)
[name]Olga[/name]
[name]Pearl[/name]
[name]Amabel[/name]
[name]Rosamund[/name]
[name]Rosemary[/name]
[name]Rosalba[/name]
[name]Edith[/name]
[name]Flora[/name]
[name]Florence[/name]
[name]Araminta[/name]
[name]Mavis[/name]
[name]Maeve[/name]
[name]Cressida[/name]
[name]Cecily[/name]

Sorry for any repeats!

[name]Ada[/name] [name]Wilhelmina[/name] with nickname [name]Will[/name] or [name]Minnie[/name] (I know some people who go by their middle names and think it’s fine)- I don’t really understand why you’d put [name]Ada[/name] first if you’re planning on using [name]Wilhelmina[/name]/some nickname for it. I don’t have a problem with someone going by their middle name, but intentionally putting the name you’re planning on calling your child in the middle is a bit odd to me unless you have a really great reason (and I don’t consider “it flows better” to be a really great reason.) Plus, [name]Ada[/name] is absolutely stunning- why WOULDN’T you want to go by that!?

[name]Wilhelmina[/name] [name]Jane[/name] or [name]Wilhelmina[/name] [name]Noa[/name] with nickname [name]Will[/name] or [name]Minnie[/name]- I love [name]Noa[/name]. [name]Wilhelmina[/name] I’m not sure about- I like the components of the sound ([name]Willa[/name] and [name]Mina[/name]) but together, it just seems like too much name.

[name]Myrtle[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name]- [name]Myrtle[/name] is too old lady even for me, and names like [name]Agatha[/name] are on my list of favorites. I think the “tle” sound is really awkward. [name]Cordelia[/name], however, is lovely in the middle.

[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Imogene[/name] with nickname [name]Vic[/name]- This is very pretty, but I don’t like [name]Vic[/name]. I prefer [name]Toria[/name], [name]Ria[/name], etc.

[name]Welcome[/name] [name]Olympia[/name], you’re in the right place!

I positively love Whilemina [name]Jane[/name], it’s one of my favorite combos, and I also think [name]Myrtle[/name] deserves to be revamped, but putting the desperately gorgeous [name]Cordelia[/name] in the middle just shouldn’t stand! [name]Cordelia[/name] [name]Myrtle[/name] or [name]Cordelia[/name] [name]Jane[/name] would be lovely, and I really like the idea of [name]Myrtle[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name].

I hope you enjoy your time as an official member of NB!

[name]Love[/name] [name]Ada[/name] [name]Wilhelmina[/name], hate the nicknames.
Ditto for [name]Wilhelmina[/name] [name]Jane[/name], and [name]Wilhelmina[/name] [name]Noa[/name], with the addition to the latter that the middle name doesn’t flow with the fn in my view.
[name]Love[/name] [name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Lilac[/name], and [name]Annie[/name].
Ditto for [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Agnes[/name]. Awesome.
[name]Myrtle[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name] is cool - I love [name]Cordelia[/name]. I don’t think I’d like [name]Myrtle[/name] in practice, though.
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Imogene[/name] is fine, but I prefer [name]Imogen[/name]. I hate the nn, again.
[name]Daphne[/name] is lovely, but [name]Adelaide[/name] isn’t.

Thank you. I am glad some of you like my name.
I like the suggestion of [name]Cordelia[/name] [name]Myrtle[/name] but I don’t know about nicknames. [name]Delia[/name], [name]Cord[/name]…I only like [name]Lia[/name] a bit.

[name]Don[/name];t forget the elegant [name]Cora[/name] as a nn!

I like [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name], the others I’m not very fond of as they are.

[name]Cordelia[/name] [name]Lilac[/name] would have gotten my vote!
