Really like/love:
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f]
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_u]Rain[/name_u] - although I like [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]'s suggestion of [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] even better!
[name_f]Aveline[/name_f] [name_f]Blanche[/name_f] - really pretty, but could maybe use a little more flavor. I feel like [name_f]Blanche[/name_f] tends to bland-ify things and therefore goes really well with more unusual fns.
[name_f]Caia[/name_f] [name_f]Blanche[/name_f] - same as above
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Marija[/name_f] (prn [name_f]Maria[/name_f])
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]
Meika [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] - Hmm. I don’t quite love the 2-2 syllable pattern. I’d consider switching this one around.
[name_f]Tatiana[/name_f] [name_f]Marija[/name_f] - Feels very European/Slavic, but that’s not necessarily a negative and it’s a gorgeous combo.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Elle[/name_f] - I like both names, just not so much together. [name_f]Elle[/name_f] just feels like an extra, tacked-on, short-E sound here.
[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Oceane[/name_f] - Similar to above, but for opposite reasons–they’re both such sweeping, dramatic names that I think they’d sound better apart.
[name_f]Saphira[/name_f] [name_f]Aveline[/name_f] - Gorgeous. There are back-to-back A’s, though.
Suggestions: [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Blanche[/name_f], [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f] [name_f]Elle[/name_f], Meika [name_f]Oceane[/name_f], [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] [name_f]Oceane[/name_f], [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Oceane[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Aveline[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Marija[/name_f], [name_f]Saphira[/name_f] [name_f]Blanche[/name_f]
Neutral/Dislike (sorry I’m too lazy for separate categories):
[name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_u]Taylor[/name_u] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Arwen[/name_f], [name_u]Taylor[/name_u] not so much. They just feel extremely dissonant together. I’d go for [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Celia[/name_f], [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Marija[/name_f], or even [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f]. As for [name_u]Taylor[/name_u], maybe [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_u]Taylor[/name_u], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_u]Taylor[/name_u], or [name_f]Aveline[/name_f] [name_u]Taylor[/name_u]?
[name_f]Asia[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] - Like pp said, I wouldn’t use [name_f]Asia[/name_f] since it’s potentially offensive.
[name_f]Clea[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] - Eh. This name just feels very medium to me–maybe because I’m a big proponent of [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] over [name_f]Clea[/name_f], and have never been at all enthusiastic about [name_u]Brooke[/name_u]. They’re also both short names; I’d consider mixing up the lengths a little.
[name_f]Elle[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] - Niceish, but very [name_m]French[/name_m] and frilly.
[name_f]Elke[/name_f] [name_f]Marija[/name_f] (prn [name_f]Elle[/name_f]-kah) - Nice. I like it.
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]McKenna[/name_f] - [name_f]McKenna[/name_f] is just plain NMS, and I don’t quite like this combo’s repeating vowel sounds.
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Liv[/name_f] - Nice. Very tomboyish.
[name_f]Hera[/name_f] [name_f]Lucette[/name_f] - I’d be hesitant to name anyone after [name_f]Hera[/name_f]–she’s not exactly a role model. [name_f]Lucette[/name_f] is nice, though.
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] - I like it well enough, but it’s a bit…cutesy-feminissima? Not sure those are the right words.
Laika [name_f]Brighton[/name_f] - According to my [fluent in Russian] mother, Laika is the Russian equivalent of Spot or Fido. And I wouldn’t use [name_f]Brighton[/name_f] unless it holds some significance for you as a place or a name.
[name_u]Logan[/name_u] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] - [name_u]Logan[/name_u] as a girls’ name = very NMS. And [name_f]Elise[/name_f] is kind of a filler middle, so I prefer it with more unusual/elaborate names.
[name_u]Loki[/name_u] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] - Yikes. I’d beware of using [name_u]Loki[/name_u], especially as a girls’ name. Could definitely be seen as tacky, even with the stolid [name_f]Ann[/name_f].
[name_u]London[/name_u] [name_f]Elina[/name_f] - A bit N-heavy (and [name_u]London[/name_u] is NMS.) I’d switch these around.
[name_f]Lucie[/name_f] [name_u]Rue[/name_u] - It’s definitely cutesy, but I see the appeal.
Lumi [name_u]Wren[/name_u] - [name_f]Kinda[/name_f] cool. Lumi feels a bit insubstantial, but [name_u]Wren[/name_u] grounds it nicely here.
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_u]Monroe[/name_u] - Also N-heavy. I love [name_f]Luna[/name_f], but [name_u]Monroe[/name_u] is very NMS. Maybe [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] or [name_f]Aveline[/name_f] [name_u]Monroe[/name_u]?
[name_f]Mila[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] - Cute. Less interesting than your other names, though.
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Vivianna[/name_f] - Very girly, but not unappealing. I’m not so much a fan of [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] in the first spot, though.
[name_u]River[/name_u] [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] - R-heavy. Maybe [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_f]Elina[/name_f], [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], [name_f]Sparrow[/name_f] [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f], [name_f]Saphira[/name_f] [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f]?
[name_u]Rain[/name_u] [name_f]Elina[/name_f] - N-heavy again. Have you considered [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] nn [name_u]Rain[/name_u]? It’d be a good way to use both. [name_u]Rain[/name_u] [name_f]Marija[/name_f], [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Elina[/name_f]?
[name_u]Shea[/name_u] [name_f]Aveline[/name_f] - It’s okay. A bit unremarkable.
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_u]Layne[/name_u] - This combo is very NMS, and the L’s slur together a little. [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_f]Aveline[/name_f], [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f] [name_u]Layne[/name_u]?
[name_u]Skylar[/name_u] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] - Nice, but again kind of unremarkable. Well-balanced, though.
[name_f]Sparrow[/name_f] [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] - Neither name is my style, but they go well together.
Sirrah [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] - “Sirrah” is the Shakespearean/Elizabethan word for “sir,” so that’s all I can see. [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] is cool.
[name_u]Tyler[/name_u] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] - [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] on a girl is waaaaaayyy NMS. [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] feminizes it well, but they’re both so boring compared to some of your other names! A sibset of, say, [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] and [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Oceane[/name_f] would feel very imbalanced.
[name_f]Vienna[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] - I know most people think of [name_f]Austria[/name_f], but to me, [name_f]Vienna[/name_f] is a stuck-up, Northern [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] suburban town. It does have a nice sound, though, and this combo flows well.
