Salutations!
Here I am exploring another naming style: “Croc Names.”
The style is described on Nameberry as “clunky, retro, so un-cool they are cool.” To me, this style is nerdy but endearing, slightly awkward but sweet, and a little clumsy. Catching newts by the river, oversized glasses, schoolbooks, old cartoons, snakes and ladders, science experiments in the garage, chunky sweaters, gardening, polka-dot rain boots, and folding paper airplanes.

Inspired by my sib-set of the day: Dora & Bruce “dodie & brucie.”
Other names I’ve brainstormed: Stanley, Wendall, Eugene, Franny, Martin, Kate, Sue, Irwin, Doris, Norman, and Roger.
I would love to see your suggestions to add to my list and hear your opinions on this style!
Louise
Edit: Below is the ongoing list of your suggestions that I’m loving!
