What do you think of [name_u]Crosby[/name_u] for a girl? First thing that comes to mind? I have a feeling the berries will love this, but pls share if you don’t!

[name_u]Crosby[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] H

I’m honestly having trouble seeing as a first on a girl. Especially with the middles [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] or [name_u]Tate[/name_u]. As a middle would be my suggestion. First thing that comes to mind is [name_m]Bing[/name_m] which is likely why I see it as a no go for a girl fn.
i like it! it is honestly super cute, though i personally would put it in the middle spot. i also would pair it with tate or valentine because those are both masculine to me.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite middle from the ones you mentioned is definitely [name_u]Crosby[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. The others just don’t feel super cohesive to me, except [name_u]Crosby[/name_u] [name_u]Tate[/name_u], but that feels very masculine to me.
[name_f]My[/name_f] AP Lang teacher was Ms. Cr0sbie, and I also knew a girl with the last name so it actually reads more feminine to me. We called the teacher the [name_m]Wizard[/name_m] of Croz as a nickname lol. I think it’s cute!
I love [name_u]Crosby[/name_u] [name_u]Tate[/name_u]! Although I definitely would not be looking for a girl if I were told to put a face with the name, but it goes together!
I like the potential nicknames of [name_f]Bee[/name_f] (which has a built-in nursery design) or [name_m]Ross[/name_m] which is a little more masculine but could still work on a girl!
[name_u]Crosby[/name_u] could grow on me. I honestly think my mind goes more towards it on a boy because of [name_u]Sidney[/name_u] [name_u]Crosby[/name_u], the NHL player, but it could work. I’d definitely wonder if her parents were hockey fans though.
Since [name_u]Crosby[/name_u] is unconventional/unique, I’d probably go for a more common middle to balance it out! [name_u]Crosby[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is my fave
A few people have mentioned the hockey player - DH and I had no idea, we are very removed from hockey! We actually thought of it while walking in soho in NYC, we love all of the street names, [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_u]Crosby[/name_u], [name_u]Mercer[/name_u]
I could picture [name_u]Crosby[/name_u] on a girl! I like it. I think it pairs best with a very feminine middle, like [name_u]Crosby[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
