Crowd control on my Girls' List

Well as an obvious side-effect of playing around on here, my name lists have gotten out of control!
Of course I have the long list of ones I “like” and those that could never actually “work” for me for various reasons…
but my Top Ten continues to get constantly lengthier and then modified back into a new order so now I’ve become curious. I am not pregnant so this is all just for fun but I’d like opinions on 5 of my top 10 girl’s names. I know everyone likes to pair up middles also, so if you want those options, it is a choice between [name]Harry[/name] [name]Potter[/name] names ([name]Lily[/name], [name]Luna[/name], [name]Lavender[/name]). These, lovely as they are, will only be used in the middle spot. I wonder which one(s) in your opinion sound the best alongside [name]Dominic[/name]. Thanks and have fun! =]

Mya, Sydney, Julie/Julia, Elena, Kate/Katherine

With classic [name]Dominic[/name], I like [name]Julia[/name], [name]Katherine[/name], and [name]Elena[/name] best

[name]Julia[/name] [name]Lavender[/name]
[name]Katherine[/name] [name]Lily[/name] or [name]Luna[/name] [name]Katherine[/name]
[name]Elena[/name] [name]Katherine[/name], [name]Elena[/name] [name]Kate[/name]

[name]Julia[/name] [name]Lavender[/name] is just gorgeous- normally I wouldn’t like the two l sounds so close together, but here it really works!

I’m having the same problem! My list just keeps growing and growing!

I think [name]Kate[/name], [name]Katherine[/name], [name]Julia[/name] or [name]Elena[/name] would be great with [name]Dominic[/name]. I’d pick [name]Elena[/name] [name]Lily[/name] or [name]Kate[/name] [name]Lavender[/name].

My two favorites are [name]Katherine[/name] and [name]Elena[/name]. [name]Love[/name] them! For pairs, I really like [name]Elena[/name] [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Katherine[/name] [name]Lavender[/name].

[name]Dominic[/name] and [name]Elena[/name] are the best pair, then [name]Katherine[/name], then [name]Julie[/name] or [name]Mya[/name]. The rest just don’t feel right to me. :frowning:

With [name]Dominic[/name], I like [name]Sydney[/name], [name]Katherine[/name], and [name]Elena[/name]. I must say I have a personal weakness for [name]Luna[/name], but it might be best as a middle name in this case. With [name]Luna[/name] as a middle name, you can use the add-on “[name]Lu[/name]” with any nn ([name]Katie[/name]-[name]Lu[/name], [name]Leni[/name]-[name]Lu[/name], or [name]Sydney[/name]-[name]Lu[/name])
I do think [name]Maya[/name] is a beautiful name, and I love the meaning (“illusion”) but [name]Mya[/name] really doesn’t do it for me. Without the second A, it feels too wispy to me.

Thank you guys so much!
It is very helpful to have a few fresh pairs of eyes… My opinions have become so clouded by my own sentimental associations with some of these that it is hard to be objective. I know many people on here hate the way I spell [name]Maya[/name]. I think I am more drawn to the idea of it being an anagram of my own name than I am to the actual sound of the name Mya. Please continue to comment if you like, I would love to hear more personal Berry opinions! You guys are great. =]

[name]Dominic[/name] and [name]Elena[/name] would be my favourite, and perhaps the combo [name]Elena[/name] [name]Lily[/name], even if it is very L heavy.

[name]Dominic[/name] and [name]Katherine[/name] would be my second pick, maybe [name]Katherine[/name] [name]Luna[/name].

I think [name]Elena[/name] goes the best with [name]Dominic[/name].

[name]Elena[/name] [name]Lavender[/name] is okay, but I also like [name]Elena[/name] [name]Poppy[/name] or [name]Elena[/name] [name]Verity[/name]

Well 2 of the names are still on my list a year later, I guess that’s a good sign. Closing the thread. =]
