[name_m]How[/name_m] crazy am I to be in love with the name [name_f]Apple[/name_f] and maybe be considering it for a daughter’s first name? I don’t know, I just love how it sounds. Middle name would be [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. What do you guys think?
A guilty pleasure of mine is [name_f]Apolline[/name_f] (APP-uh-LEEN), which shares many similarities to [name_f]Apple[/name_f] but in a much more subtle way. [name_f]Apolline[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is quite lovely together!
I’m still not over that it’s actually the first name of a celebrity kid so [name_f]Apple[/name_f] gets a no from me; it feels equally weird as [name_f]Banana[/name_f] or [name_u]Orange[/name_u] would as first names.
It’s not for me, but it certainly is cute. I don’t honestly see an issue with using it at all, but I’m from a small town where odd/unusual names are the norm - [name_f]Apple[/name_f] would seem tame!
I’ve known 3 girls who go by the name [name_f]Apple[/name_f], so it’s a name that I’m quite familiar with in real life, but none of them have it as their official name. One of them is an [name_f]Apolline[/name_f], and the other two are called [name_f]Apollonia[/name_f].
I think that [name_f]Apolline[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] nicknamed [name_f]Apple[/name_f] would be lovely, and would mean that you could still have the adorable [name_f]Apple[/name_f] to use, but if she decided that it was a little overly cutesy when she was older, she could then switch to the full name or a different nickname like [name_f]Polly[/name_f].
I like the suggestion of [name_f]Apolline[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and I want to suggest [name_f]Alma[/name_f] and Almila! Both [name_f]Alma[/name_f] and Almila means apple and I think they are not unusual as [name_f]Apple[/name_f]. [name_f]Alma[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a good combination too.
[name_f]Apple[/name_f] feels really sweet and cute to me. I think it’s definitely usable. It does sound a bit cutesy at first glance, but I’ve known people named [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and Shine and [name_u]January[/name_u] and [name_f]Apple[/name_f] really doesn’t seem any more out there or unusable than those. I don’t think [name_f]Apple[/name_f] goes well with the more classic names in your signature though.
