What do you think about name [name_u]Cruz[/name_u]? I’m thinking about using it for a middle name. The thing is last name ends with same sound as “mess.”
I really like [name_u]Cruz[/name_u]! Personally it doesn’t bother me that it ends in somewhat the same sound as the last name, since they won’t often be said all together. As long as the first name ends in a different sound, things should be fine 
I have a cousin named [name_u]Cruz[/name_u] (my aunties maiden surname!) which he wears really well. I’ve also got a family friend called [name_u]Cruz[/name_u], and he wears it really well! It definitely works. Very edgy and fun.

I don’t think it would be a problem! It doesn’t really seem to rhyme and so long as the first name ends differently, I think you’re fine

i love the name cruz! short, sweet, and a little spunky. using in the middle spot would be really sweet too and like others have said i don’t think it would be a problem with your last name.
