Cyprien or Cyprian

I just found this back in my husband’s family tree. It was passed down through three generations, and used among cousins as a middle name. That’s a good bit of family history but too far back for anyone living ro remember (exactly the kind of family names I like to use for firsts).

I’ve never met or heard of a [name]Cyprien[/name]. What does it make you think of? Have you heard it anywhere before?

It reminds me of cypress trees, which would be fitting, since we live down in the bayou.

I’m reminded of the island of [name]Cyprus[/name]… located in the Mediterranean Sea.

The name also makes me think of actor [name]Eddie[/name] Cibrian…at least his last name. It has a similar sound to [name]Cyprian[/name].

I like the uniqueness of [name]Cyprian[/name].
