Dahlia or Dorothy - helps us decide!

[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] are two of my favorite D names. They sound so adorable, colorful and gentle.

[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] is wonderful. However, if you what to call her [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f], [name_f]Dot[/name_f] or [name_f]Dottie[/name_f], I would keep [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] as a first name. [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_f]June[/name_f] and [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_f]Juniper[/name_f] are lovely. I would select the option that flows better with the surname. Both ideas are absolutely gorgeous!

In general, I much prefer [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]! It’s so unique yet elegant. But if you want Dot/Dottie as a nickname, I agree that you should probably use [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] as a first. [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] isn’t a personal favorite of mine, but if it speaks to both of you then absolutely go for it!

Overall, I’d vote [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f], but you really can’t go wrong here :slight_smile:
