I have two boys and I’m about to have a third (girl)
Its really important to me that my first daughter have the middle name [name_f]Renee[/name_f]. It’s my grandma, my moms, and my middle name. It’s really special to me to get to pass it on.
My other grandma passed away awhile ago. Her name was [name_f]Erlene[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_f]Fay[/name_f]. I gave my second son the middle name [name_m]Earl[/name_m] after her. She was so important to me. Anyway, I love the idea of using my grandmas middle and last name, [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_f]Fay[/name_f] as my daughters name. But that doesn’t leave me room for [name_f]Renee[/name_f]…
SO! [name_f]Do[/name_f] I do [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] and hope my fourth is a girl to use [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_f]Fay[/name_f] or do I combine the two and do [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f]?
[name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f]! In general I think both [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] and [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Fay[/name_f] sound better, and look more cohesive, than [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_f]Fay[/name_f] and [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f].
I would go the combine route. [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] is lovely! And you would still have a great combo in [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Fay[/name_f] in the wings for the future without feeling like you might miss out on your favorite name. And since you’ve already honored your grandma [name_f]Erlene[/name_f] once before, I don’t think [name_f]Fay[/name_f] should be a bigger priority than [name_f]Renee[/name_f]. But also since you do seem to love [name_f]Frances[/name_f] I think honoring her again in that sense would be fine and I would still choose [name_f]Frances[/name_f] over [name_f]Daisy[/name_f].
I say [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] and save [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_f]Fay[/name_f] for a second daughter. I love [name_f]Frances[/name_f], but it’s nice to honor the other grandma since you’ve already honored [name_f]Erlene[/name_f]
Right. I will for sure do [name_f]Renee[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] didn’t know if I should do daisy [name_f]Renee[/name_f] or [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] I guess.
I think [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Fay[/name_f] actually sounds really pretty, but I also love multiple middles so I guess that is a subjective opinion
I would say to go with [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f]. Your son’s name already honored your g-ma, I honestly think it would be a little much to do it again! ^^
Would you be open to a double middle name? [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] would sound lovely!! Daisy Renee is my favourite though
What if you did [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] like others are saying? You could use [name_f]Fay[/name_f] as a middle name.
If you’re set on one of these two then I say [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f]. [name_f]Renee[/name_f] seems very important to you so I think you’d regret not using [name_f]Renee[/name_f] since you’ve been thinking of this for so long.
As names go, I greatly prefer [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_f]Fay[/name_f] to [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f].
But I would do [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f]. No one knows if a fourth child will happen, so I’d use the [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] option.
