I was wondering what some of your opinions were for the name [name]Dallas[/name] on a girl? I prefer to like more feminine names, but for some reason I really love the name [name]Dallas[/name] on a girl. What do you think?
[name]Dallas[/name] was No# 318 in popularity last year in the US for boys and it hasn’t been in the top 1,000 for girls since 2000 when it reached No# 901. I have a a hyperactive male cousin named [name]Dallas[/name] so he’s ruined the name for me. [name]Dallas[/name] is feeling a little tired and dated to me after having a good run in the 1990’s and 2000’s. Another place name in [name]Texas[/name] is on the rise: [name]Austin[/name] is hot at No# 64 for boys. Personally, even before my family member was born, [name]Dallas[/name] was not a favourite of mine. But if you like more unisex names, then [name]Dallas[/name] may be the name for your girl.
On the new show “Suburgatory” there is a female character with the name [name]Dallas[/name]…
DH went to school with a female [name]Dallas[/name]- she was really beautiful & very athletic, so I have a very positive image of that name. I think it could totally work if you’re going for a tomboy cute name!
I much prefer [name]Dallas[/name] on a girl than a boy, but I just don’t find it pretty. It could grow on me, though.
I think it’s a cool name for a girl. Plus I think of the song by [name]Alan[/name] [name]Jackson[/name]. It sounds independent and strong, with a bit of a wild side.
I actually knew a little girl named [name]Dallas[/name], she was at the preschool where I student taught a few months ago and is in kindergarten now. She was one of three kids and she was very cute, bright and friendly. It’s a positive image for me, I wouldn’t use it on my own child but I wouldn’t bat an eyelash if I met another little [name]Dallas[/name]. Dally or [name]Lassie[/name] might be a cute nickname
One of my students last year was [name]Dallas[/name], a cute little red-head. I loved her and her name!
I love [name]Dallas[/name], and I definitely prefer it for a girl!
I know a female [name]Dallas[/name], as well. She’s in her teens now. I actually think ‘female’ when I hear that name first.
I wish I knew a female [name]Dallas[/name], it’s not heard of where I’m from so all I can think about as [name]Dallas[/name] [name]Green[/name] from City and Color.
I live in [name]Texas[/name] and know 4 big athletic/football type guys named [name]Dallas[/name] either from school or social interaction, the only female reference I have for it is [name]Bryce[/name] [name]Dallas[/name] [name]Howard[/name] so I see it more as a guys name and I think most people in [name]Texas[/name] do too (not that it strictly belongs to [name]Texas[/name]), but I think it would work best as a middle name.
My names [name]Dallas[/name] and im a girl. i get alot of dallas texas comments but i like my name, it compliments my unique personality and style. also, i was a tomboy when i was small but not as much anymore.
I live in [name]Texas[/name] and [name]Dallas[/name] (and [name]Austin[/name]) are really common boys names. I hear them all the time which I’m sure isnt the norm other places but it makes me think these are exclusively boys names.
I like it! But I would ask, so, why is [name]Dallas[/name] a special place to you? If there’s an answer to that question, use it!
I have it on my list for a girl! I love it. I know of a girl named [name]Dallas[/name] in her 30s.
I actually really like it on a girl, it’s got more girl energy than male, imo.
Well, I actually first heard this name on a girl a long time ago, so I don’t mind it.
I went to jr. high with a female [name]Dallas[/name] who was a very sweet girl. I also used to know a little boy named [name]Dallas[/name] who was kind of a hellion, so I have much better connotations with it as a girl’s name! [name]Both[/name] the boy and the girl [name]Dallas[/name] went by the nn Dally a lot.
[name]Dallas[/name] works for a girl. [name]Austin[/name] is all boy to me though.
