[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it sounds too close to “demon”? Too much of an association with Vampire Diaries? Does it make a good sibset with [name_m]Leon[/name_m] and [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]? Overall - yay or nay?

I LOVE [name_m]Damon[/name_m], I love it. I do see the similarity to demon but it doesn’t put me off of it too much, my main association is [name_m]Matt[/name_m] [name_m]Damon[/name_m] and the story of [name_m]Damon[/name_m] and Pythias, I never even knew about Vampire Diaries until super recently. I think it sounds pretty nice next to [name_m]Leon[/name_m] and [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]!

All those [name_m]Damon[/name_m] names remind me of devils. I don’t know the Vampire Diaries but I remember a [name_m]Damian[/name_m] movie. Nay.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Damon[/name_m]! I honestly think it’s really handsome and I’ve considered it myself. It also goes perfectly with the other kids names.
I personally think the demon thing is pretty silly for people to associate it with. Don’t let it bother you too much. If you love it, don’t let that stop you from using it. Best of luck!

[name_m]Demon[/name_m] is the first thing I think of, sorry. I think it works with [name_m]Leon[/name_m] and [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f].

I say yay! It reminds me of one of my favorite artists [name_m]Damon[/name_m] Albarn. It also fits good with your sibset

i like the name damon but i do really have a strong connection to tvd. however, i love tvd. i do think i prefer dorian to damon though.

Too close to demon for me. I do like [name_m]Dante[/name_m] though. I don’t really think it goes with [name_m]Leon[/name_m] or [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] but its ok.

I like it. I think it’s solid & handsome, and sounds perfect with [name_m]Leon[/name_m] & [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]. Definitely has the same mysterious vibes imo
Personally, it’s the name [name_m]Damian[/name_m] or [name_m]Damien[/name_m] that makes me think of darkness or demons. I think it’s because it was the child’s name in The Omen film.
[name_m]Damon[/name_m] just makes me think of Vampire Diaries 
but I’m not sure many people would have that association.
[name_m]Matt[/name_m] [name_m]Damon[/name_m] and [name_m]Damon[/name_m] Albarn also spring to mind, but they’re not strong associations.
It’s a handsome name, but the vampire link makes it feel a little ethereal and mysterious to me (rather than dark).

it doesn’t sound like demon to me (though it does remind me a lot of dæmon) and I think it works well with leon and scarlett !! damon, leon, and scarlett is darling 
Honestly I’m a bit torn. It’s a name to me, but a lot of folks would go to demon. I do think [name_m]Damon[/name_m] is handsome.
I like the sound, but I do think it looks like [name_m]Demon[/name_m]. It throws me off a bit, maybe to make it look less like demon, you could spell it [name_m]Daymon[/name_m]?
Oh, another idea is [name_m]Eamon[/name_m]
