Basically what the title suggests. Usable? Or absolutely horrible?
Would [name]Jack[/name] [name]Daniel[/name] be as horrible as I think it would be? Haha
[name]How[/name] about [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Daniel[/name] in the same sibset?
I wouldn’t think twice about brothers named [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Daniel[/name]. But I definitely recommend against naming a child [name]Jack[/name] [name]Daniel[/name]. You could consider [name]Daniel[/name] [name]Jackson[/name]…?
Yeah I’m not considering jack [name]Daniel[/name], as cute as it is. Does [name]Daniel[/name] [name]Jack[/name] solve the problem? [name]Jackson[/name] is not an option.
I agree with you about [name]Jack[/name] [name]Daniel[/name] – definitely too much, as you said. But what’s wrong with [name]Daniel[/name] [name]Jack[/name]? I love this name!! Classic with added spunk. [name]Love[/name] love love. I don’t see anything wrong with it at all. And I also wouldn’t think twice about brothers named [name]Daniel[/name] and [name]Jack[/name] … maybe twins, but that’s stretching how much thought I’d put into their names upon meeting them. I also agree with you about [name]Jackson[/name] – definitely not. [name]Daniel[/name] [name]Jack[/name]!!! [name]Love[/name] it!
[name]Daniel[/name] [name]Jack[/name] is totally fine. I didn’t even get the [name]Jack[/name] [name]Daniels[/name] connection until I saw it written [name]Jack[/name] [name]Daniel[/name]. Unlike most people though, I think siblings [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Daniel[/name] aren’t a good idea.
When I first read the title, I saw [name]Jack[/name] [name]Daniel[/name], not [name]Daniel[/name] [name]Jack[/name]. JD’s is my drink of choice though, so it’s the first thing I think of when I see the two names together (apparently, regardless of which is written first).
Brothers named [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Daniel[/name] is a bit too much in my opinion.
Yep, I think it works as [name]Daniel[/name] [name]Jack[/name]. Going by the responses on this thread, you may get the odd person pointing out the [name]Jack[/name] [name]Daniels[/name] connection, so if you’re happy with that possibility, then it’s a goer!
Thank you everyone! [name]Glad[/name] to see the mostly positive opinions of [name]Daniel[/name] [name]Jack[/name]! Interesting mixed reaction to brothers named [name]Daniel[/name] and [name]Jack[/name]! Wasn’t expecting that at all, so I’m glad I asked.
@middlewillow, I think I could survive the handful of people giggling at the name choice, but no one close to me drinks too much [name]Jack[/name], so I think I’ll be okay with that. Hopefully no one notices [name]Daniel[/name] [name]Jack[/name] next to sister [name]Stella[/name]. . . haha
Hmm…
I don’t like [name]Jack[/name] [name]Daniel[/name] or [name]Daniel[/name] [name]Jack[/name] to me it screams alcohol. I think maybe [name]Daniel[/name] [name]Jackson[/name] would work, or a variant of [name]Jack[/name] like maybe [name]Jacques[/name]. [name]Jacques[/name] I think works with [name]Daniel[/name]. I like [name]Jacques[/name] [name]Daniel[/name]. I also wouldn’t have [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Daniel[/name] in the same sibling set, it seems cheesy. Maybe [name]Jackson[/name] and [name]Daniel[/name] or [name]Jacques[/name] and [name]Daniel[/name]. Or Danielson? As a surname twist. I just wouldn’t put the two names together.
Thanks for the opinion and suggestions! However, [name]Daniel[/name] and [name]Jack[/name] are the only variants of either name I would ever consider using. I’d more likely pick one or the other (or switch the two names around in my combos) than pick a variant. [name]Just[/name] a personal preference
