[name]Daphne[/name] is gorgeous. [name]Daphne[/name] always makes me think of tulips and daffodils! It’s perfect for a spring baby. I wouldn’t worry too much about the nickname. I think [name]Daphne[/name] is easy enough to use on its own. [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] is stunning.
I love just plain [name]Tess[/name]. I think it’s so elegant, and the brevity makes it more full-bodied to me, if that makes sense. It’s a statement name. If you’re not so sure about [name]Tessa[/name] but love [name]Tess[/name], then why even consider [name]Tessa[/name]? [name]Don[/name]'t be afraid of a short name! It has punch. But I’m not sure that [name]Tess[/name] fits your style, judging by the other names you prefer. [name]Tess[/name] would make [name]Violet[/name] feel like a more grown-up name, whereas [name]Daphne[/name], [name]Willow[/name], and the lot makes [name]Violet[/name] sound more whimsical (btw I love how [name]Violet[/name] is so adaptable). [name]Eloise[/name] is the perfect balance between the two, and I love the nn Lo. So cute!
I love [name]Daphne[/name]. I wouldn’t worry about the [name]Daffy[/name] nickname. People might call her Daf from time to time, but you can always correct them. I’m not in love with [name]Juliet[/name] as a middle. Have you considered [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Willow[/name]?
Thanks so much girls! Well I still think [name]Tessa[/name] is my top name. I love [name]Tess[/name] as the nn but I like the flow of [name]Tessa[/name] better as the full name. I want to love this name without doubts but I have this feeling that something better is out there. Probably thisnisthe name for me though ;). I decided that I don’t want another nature name
I feel that it takes a little bit away from her sisters name which I really don’t want. [name]Daphne[/name] is adorable but the nn [name]Daffy[/name] does worry me. [name]Eloise[/name] is feeling a bit tongue twisty to me. Sooo, I guess [name]Tessa[/name] is my top name from this bunch but I will be searching to see what else is out there
[name]Daphne[/name] and [name]Tessa[/name] have been favorites of mine for years! Beautiful!
Ok so I’m going to eliminate the nature names. And added a few more classic names. So the revised list is…
[name]Tessa[/name]
[name]Daphne[/name]
[name]Felicity[/name]
[name]Juliet[/name]
[name]Love[/name] [name]Tessa[/name] - beautiful, easy to spell and pronounce, spunky and fun but still with some history
Like [name]Daphne[/name] and [name]Juliet[/name]
[name]Felicity[/name] I’m only so so about. I prefer other virtue names much more–like [name]Charity[/name] and [name]Verity[/name]
