What are your thoughts on the name [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]?
[name_f]My[/name_f] absolute favorite name ever
I’ve loved [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] for soooo long. I love her airy, floaty sound, that Greek -e ending, she’s just very refined and lovely and delicate. The ‘laurel’ meaning is personally important to me too so I love it for that reason.
[name_f]My[/name_f] two strong associations are [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_u]Blake[/name_u] from Scooby-Doo and now of course [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] Bridgerton, which are both pretty positive imho, although I’m a little aggrieved that Bridgerton has probably boosted the popularity!
I really like it. [name_f]My[/name_f] family are huge [name_m]Scooby[/name_m] Doo fans so that is a really strong association for me but its grown on me enough to overcome that and actually get put on my long list. It has such an elegant yet light vibe to it and I really love [name_f]Nina[/name_f] asa nickname (from the “knee” sound at the end).
[name_u]Love[/name_u] it! It’s so sweet, classy, and smart!

[name_u]Love[/name_u] it!! It manages to sound both elegant and spunky and I love that it’s short + has the e ending so it doesn’t need a nickname but there are cute nicknames if you want one!
Beautiful . Has definitely grown on me. I love Daphne Jane but not over the too for the middle name

[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] is beautiful and evocative! I do get a bit of a haughty vibe from it in the abstract, but that’s not a strong association. Its recent use for a character in White [name_u]Lotus[/name_u] was sort of along those lines. But on a kid I think it would be fresh and surprising!
