Darcy is having a brother

Last name is two syllables and ends with “on”. Absolutely can’t stand [name]Jayden[/name], [name]Kayden[/name], [name]Brayden[/name], etc…

I like [name]Finn[/name] more than anything else right now. We have loved this name for about a dozen years. if it wasnt for Glee, i dont think I would be second guessing it. Also bouncing [name]Alistair[/name] around. Any other ideas? Also like Calvin and Patrick.

Thanks!

I don’t have any name suggestions, but [name]Finn[/name] ____on has a nice rhythm and ring to it. If you really like it, Glee will be off the air in a few years, and I don’t think you have to worry about it being a Top 10, every-other-kid-on-the-playground kind of name. [name]Just[/name] some wind in your sails, if you need it!

Thanks!

That show is still on? Oh well. Didn’t know there was a [name]Finn[/name] on there anyway. [name]Finn[/name] is a good name. I’d suggest [name]Finnian[/name] or [name]Finnegan[/name] but that might be too rhymey with your last name. I totally love [name]Finn[/name] [name]Alistair[/name]!

I love the idea of [name]Alistair[/name]/[name]Alastair[/name] [name]Finn[/name] so much.

And [name]Calvin[/name] is a great name. It’s a bit geek chic, and sounds simultaneously classic, old-fashioned, and modern.

I like [name]Finn[/name] with [name]Darcy[/name]. I don’t the the Glee association should put you off as Glee isn’t as popular as it was before.

Thanks!

Skydog, is [name]Darcy[/name] a boy? If so, I’d go with another soft, gentlemanly name.

[name]Edgar[/name]
[name]Frederick[/name]
[name]Timothy[/name]
[name]Geoffrey[/name]
[name]Crispin[/name]
[name]Cyril[/name]
[name]Phineas[/name] (formal way to [name]Finn[/name])
[name]Ernest[/name]
[name]Bertrand[/name]
[name]Duncan[/name]
[name]Vernon[/name]

[name]Alistair[/name] fits the bill!

[name]Darcy[/name] is a girl. I like your list.

[name]Ah[/name]. Well then if [name]Darcy[/name]'s a girl (adorable name for a girl by the way) pretty much anything goes for her bro.
[name]Darcy[/name] on a girl makes me think vintage (I think of [name]Darla[/name] from The [name]Little[/name] Rascals)
So [name]Calvin[/name] could definitely work if you wanted to take it in that direction…
Vintage, snappy and cheerful:

[name]Guy[/name]
[name]Harvey[/name]
[name]Johnny[/name]
[name]Clyde[/name]
[name]Louis[/name]
[name]Walter[/name] “[name]Walt[/name]”
[name]Oscar[/name]
[name]Gilbert[/name]
[name]Victor[/name]
[name]Monty[/name]

I love [name]Finn[/name]. DH won’t use it because of Glee either, but I may talk him out of it. I love one syllable names though, and our last name ends in “on” and most sound great, so i’d ignore that comment.

Thank you!

I like [name]Finn[/name] with [name]Darcy[/name]! Have you considered [name]Flynn[/name]?

In like [name]Flynn[/name]. I do like that as well.

[name]Finn[/name] and [name]Darcy[/name] go so well together!

Thanks for the input.

What does “[name]Finn[/name]” say to you? We picked [name]Darcy[/name] for our daughter because we thought it was strong, not common, but not unusual at the same time. I think [name]Finn[/name], while more common these days, is of a similar vein. What do you think?
