Our front runner is [name_f]Davina[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], but I am afraid this may sound too much like a character name? Thoughts? My husband LOVES it.
We also really like [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] (pronounced [name_f]EL[/name_f]-loh-wen), and are also open to other names. Our last name has two syllables and is super common.

I prefer [name_f]Davina[/name_f] but I think they can be great sibling names.
I prefer [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u]. I think it sounds more unique and pretty.

I prefer [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u], but I think [name_f]Davina[/name_f] works just fine as a name. [name_m]Just[/name_m] don’t like it as much as [name_f]Elowen[/name_f].

I prefer [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u], but I also agree with pp who said they would make great sibling names.
I prefer [name_f]Elowen[/name_f]. Maybe [name_f]Davina[/name_f] with a different middle would make it sound less like a character.
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would be my first choice if it were an option, and I do prefer [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] over [name_f]Davina[/name_f], BUT I don’t think there’s anything off-putting about [name_f]Davina[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. If he loves it (and you do too!) you should use it.

I actually like [name_f]Davina[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] better. I think it’s beautiful! I also don’t think it sounds very character-like because [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a rather common middle name.
I personally prefer [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], but I don’t think [name_f]Davina[/name_f] sounds like a character name! Someone very close to me is named [name_f]Daveena[/name_f], and she wears it very well 
I slightly prefer [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u], but I see the appeal of [name_f]Davina[/name_f], and the more I think about it, the more it grows on me. It is pretty and unexpected, but not “out there” or trying too hard. The “v” sound is very in right now, so it hits the “stands out fits” in sweet spot. [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] seems to be rising in popularity right now, but [name_f]Davina[/name_f] would be a timeless choice. I don’t know what is meant by a character name, so I didn’t think [name_f]Davina[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] sounds like one. You have two lovely options and I agree with pps that they would make great sister names.
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is on my personal list, so I’m biased towards that. I love the name [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] and I think [name_u]Brook[/name_u] is nice with it as well.
Although I prefer [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], I think [name_f]Davina[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is very pretty too! You can’t really go wrong with either.
I prefer [name_f]Davina[/name_f]. [name_f]Davina[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is lovely but if it’s too floral [name_f]Davina[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] is just as well.
