How do we all feel about the name [name_f]Delta[/name_f] in 2024? I’m really crushing on her and would love to hear some other peoples thoughts and opinions.

Yes to [name_f]Delta[/name_f]! Any pandemic associations are behind us, I feel. The nature imagery of a verdant wetland delta has always been the most prominent thing to me.
I think the sounds in delta are a lovely mixture - the strong D, delicate ‘ta’ ending. It’s very pretty.

I love the name [name_f]Delta[/name_f]. It is my #1 girl name right now, and has been for over a year.
To me, I don’t associate it with the pandemic at all. The bigger association for me is [name_f]Delta[/name_f] Airlines. It still isn’t enough to deter me from this awesome name though.
I love the nature ties of [name_f]Delta[/name_f], and even more I love the association to math (delta in math/physics often means change).
If we have another girl and I get the chance to use [name_f]Delta[/name_f], I would pair it with a family name that is too rare for me to share online. But, I think there are lots of great options. I particularly like another poster’s suggestion of [name_f]Delta[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]. I also like [name_f]Delta[/name_f] [name_f]Cosette[/name_f].
We would probably use the name [name_m]Del[/name_m] a lot 
I know there’s the Covid association and I know there’s the airline, but I do still love [name_f]Delta[/name_f] - distinctive and interesting, with rugged nature-vibes, but also a sharp, city, stylish feel.

I just think of the aussie singer delta goodrem. i don’t really think about the pandemic at all, and i think that is behind us know. no bad associations, but immediately associate the whole name with her. doesn’t seem like you are in aus though so not an issue!

I was actually sad when I found out that the variant was called [name_f]Delta[/name_f] because I think the name is quite underrated and knew that would deter some parents. However, I agree with others that that association is mostly behind us. I don’t know about naming a daughter, for example, Cova or Corona… but [name_f]Delta[/name_f] is fine.
Of your combos, I think they all sound really nice! I would say [name_f]Delta[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] is my favorite though, it just has a certain 
sophisticated and sweet vibe to it.
It’s just an airline to me.

That said Delta Genevieve and Delta Vivienne are both lovely! (Oh, actually Delta Madeleine is really nice, too! You’ve got some great options!)
I’ve never been a fan long before the Covid thing (which I don’t think is an issue btw), it’s just a personal taste thing. Not sure why as when I’m saying it the sounds are very pretty… I just don’t love it. I do love [name_f]Della[/name_f] though and the del sound in another names eg [name_f]Odela[/name_f].
[name_f]Delta[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_f]Delta[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] are both fab combos that work. I’m not a fan of [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], but objectively I don’t think the cadence of this flows as well as the others.
I don’t think there’s any need to look further re middles, I think you’ve nailed it. [name_f]Delta[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is my fave
