This may not help at all, but the only [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] I know is the Disick ([name_f]Kourtney[/name_f] Kardashian’s daughter). While this may be what some associate [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] with, it’s not a bad association at all as [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] Disick is absolutely gorgeous! I think [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] can be outdoorsy and nature-loving, but on the other side of the scale I could imagine a [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] being introverted and a real bookworm. It’s very fitting for any personality! I can just imagine a [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] wearing a dungarees with the shorts of them rolled all the way up and sticking in with mischievous activity in the garden.
I don’t like the nickname choices for [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], so it’d just be [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] or P.
To me [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is lively and girlish. She wears dresses but runs barefoot outside. The imagery is yellow and calico with streaming ribbons. But she ages into more reserved/refined, still intellectually curious.
Thank you both. I can very well picture [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] as the persons you described and the image of a little girl in rolled up dungarees (I added a straw hat), hopping through the garden, probably picking up worms with a stick or secretly picking strawberries, is very sweet

A castle or fairy playgroup Is she outdoorsy and bubbly, calm and has her nose stuck in a book, something else? Being a horse girl. [name_m]How[/name_m] does a [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] dress like? Singing, dancing, reading And would she go by [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], [name_u]Penny[/name_u], [name_f]Nell[/name_f]? [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] or [name_f]Nell[/name_f].
Thanks.
[name_f]May[/name_f] I ask: What exactly is a fairy play group?
And [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] is a great nn, I think I much prefer it over the others!
I love [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] muchly as well! A FPG is like a playgroup for little boys and girls to go to and dress up as fairy’s and have tea parties and such - it’s quite popular in my area, though I was never really into it
What colour is [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] to you? [name_f]Pink[/name_f] for sure
What environment do you see [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] spending most of her time in? In a tea party environment, with beautiful little cups and saucers and fairy wings on.
Is she outdoorsy and bubbly, calm and has her nose stuck in a book, something else? I think she sounds like she would be a reader, not outdoorsy sounding for me.
[name_m]How[/name_m] does a [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] dress like? Stripy tights, fairy wings. I imagine her with dark hair though. She loves dresses
What are her hobbies? [name_m]Reading[/name_m] and drawing
And would she go by [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], [name_u]Penny[/name_u], [name_f]Nell[/name_f]? … [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]Penny[/name_u] and [name_f]Nell[/name_f].
PS: I love the idea of this thread… Might do one myself- would you mind?
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is warm colors for me, orange mostly, but yellows, golds, reds, pinks, corals. And occasionally some bright purples thrown in. (sorry, I can’t pick just one, that would depend on the entire combo)
She is defiantly outdoorsy and bubbly, wearing bright, colorful sundresses, yet still being a bit of a tomboy. (make sure she always has shorts on underneath those dresses she loves, she’s still going to climb trees and such while wearing them)
As she gets older I can see her hobbies being very diverse, soccer, archery, and either sewing, knitting, or crocheting.
What colour is [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] to you?
To me [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] would be a bright, fun color like yellow. I don’t find this name to be too girly, but still feminine, so I don’t see pink.
What environment do you see [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] spending most of her time in?
As a child, playing in with friends in the park; isn’t afraid to get a little dirt under her nails. Very social little girl. As an adult, very literary & a lover of music - maybe hangs out in coffee shops and attending music venues.
Is she outdoorsy and bubbly, calm and has her nose stuck in a book, something else?
I think she a bit of both. Loves the outdoors & social butterfly but enjoys her alone time with a good read.
[name_m]How[/name_m] does a [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] dress like? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you see a modern little girl in jeans and a gap shirt or does [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] wear vintage dresses or something else entirely?
[name_f]Indie[/name_f]/vintage style dresses, but also loves a good pair of jeans.
What are her hobbies? Baking, reading, singing, football, swimming?
Definitely a reader but loves to bake as well.
And would she go by [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], [name_u]Penny[/name_u], [name_f]Nell[/name_f]?
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] - she is not a fan of [name_u]Penny[/name_u].
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] to me is a very bright yellow. When I picture a [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], I see a little girl wearing vintage 50/60’s style dresses, with bows in her hair, always bare foot and loving the sun and outdoors. A little girl who is very curious and has an extremely vivid imagination, and loves to fight dragons in the backyard. I think she would be artistic and creative, and very sweet.
I love the nickname [name_f]Nellie[/name_f] for [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
By the way, I adore the name [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]!
Oh absolutely not, please go ahead! I’m not the first one to create a thread like this (and this hasn’t been my first one either), I think it’s incredibly interesting how other people picture a person with one if my favourites, especially since some names seem to give off the same vibe to almost everyone
I’ll definitely check your thread and thanks for your comment!
