Mika Sage has rosy cheeks with a splattering of freckles across them. His hair is brown and looks purposefully messy which adds to his charm. Mika Sageās eyes are like Lake Louise and they shine even brighter when he sees someone or something he loves. Mika feels most at peace in nature and loves finding ladybugs, caring for plants and animals, and splashing in the creek. Once he gets older, heās the one who rushes to help when someoneās books and papers crash to the floor in the middle of the hallway and his actions have a gentle kindness. Roman is older than Zlata by enough that she looks up to him both literally and figuratively. Roman is very sure of himself and loves to build worlds whether it be through Legos, blocks, or stories. Zlata tends to toddle behind him and mimick his actions. The two of them love to play with their dog who is a gentle giant and considers himself to be the furry third child. Roman and Zlata are each otherās biggest cheerleaders. When Roman has t-ball games Zlata is clapping the whole time constantly pointing out her brother to her parents and other bystanders. Zlata started soccer but sheās still young enough for the games to be more about kids playing tag and learning to kick the ball, even if itās into their own goals, nevertheless Roman is yelling the whole time and makes sure to give her a big hug and congrats after every game. Afterward, they always beg their parents to get something from the ice cream truck and then sit on the curb as the sweets drip down their hands.
