My husband is terribly picky and it’s causing us to have a ridiculously hard time finding boys names.
We desperately need help. I like uncommon old fashioned names he tends to lean towards Celtic/Warrior/ mythology names. Also baby has a pretty strong chance of being a red head like dad.

It’s “from an Irish surname, an Anglicized form of Ó Floinn meaning “descendent of [name_m]FLANN[/name_m]” (red)”, so descendent of the red-haired. Here are some others, although not necessarily all Celtic since everyone seemed to get most of those already:
[name_u]Murphy[/name_u] is cute, but rather common (albeit as a surname). [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m], [name_m]Ronan[/name_m], or [name_m]Cormac[/name_m] would be my picks.

I would say go with [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]. I think it pairs better with [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]. It also has the advantage of being less common that [name_m]Cillian[/name_m]/[name_m]Killian[/name_m] and I think it has a smoother/better sound than [name_m]Cillian[/name_m]/[name_m]Killian[/name_m].
[name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] [name_u]Murphy[/name_u] would be a nice combination.
[name_u]Tristan[/name_u], the best of Celtic Warrior and traditional names?
[name_m]Quillan[/name_m]/[name_m]Quillon[/name_m] instead of [name_m]Cillian[/name_m]? NB claims it’s prn KILL-an, but everyone I know says QWILL-an. You could have cool nn [name_m]Quill[/name_m], which sounds very cool and naturey with [name_u]Ruby[/name_u].
Or a compromise - [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] nn [name_m]Thorin[/name_m] or [name_m]Thor[/name_m]? Classic for you, but mythological for him?
