We only had two so it wasn’t much of a list but still. Can you ladies help me out again. Opinions on these? I’ve kept the first names that he scratched hoping I can get him to reconsider if they are in a longer list of names.
[name]Abraham[/name] - very strong and masculine
[name]Asher[/name] - biblical yet modern
[name]August[/name] - very cool
[name]Elias[/name] - one of my favorites. It seems classy and accessible yet fun with the nn [name]Eli[/name]
[name]Moses[/name] - definitely deserves to be used more often
[name]Simon[/name] - adorable for a little boy, handsome for a man
[name]Tobias[/name] - i love [name]Toby[/name]
I love [name]Jasper[/name], [name]Edward[/name], [name]Ezra[/name], [name]Felix[/name], [name]Emmett[/name], [name]August[/name] & [name]Jude[/name] - all of them are incredibly handsome.
The only names here I dislike are [name]Jarrett[/name], [name]Bishop[/name] & [name]Nolan[/name].
Thanks everyone. I’ve been trying to split the list up between first names and middle names but I’m not having any luck. All the J names need to be first names but I can’t find a name I want to trade it with.
I love these:
[name]August[/name]
[name]Elias[/name]
[name]Jonah[/name]
[name]Jude[/name]
[name]Malachi[/name]- [name]LOVE[/name] this as a way to [name]Kai[/name].
[name]Nolan[/name]
I like these:
[name]Damien[/name]
[name]Edward[/name]
[name]Emmett[/name]
[name]Tobias[/name]
[name]Simon[/name]- I love [name]Sy[/name] as a nickname.
[name]Paul[/name]
These are so-so:
[name]Ezekiel[/name]- I love nn [name]Zeke[/name], but [name]Ezekiel[/name] in full seems a bit too vintage-y biblical, if you know what I mean. [name]Elias[/name], for example, is vintage-y biblical as well, but seems much more wearable to me.
[name]Asher[/name]- A great name, just not one I like personally.
[name]Moses[/name] - I really want to like this, but a (really, really big) part of me thinks it’s just too over the top to use.
[name]Soren[/name]
[name]Victor[/name]
I don’t like these:
[name]Abraham[/name]- MUCH prefer [name]Abram[/name]. I love [name]Abram[/name], but [name]Abraham[/name] just seems a bit too much.
[name]Asa[/name] - I think it’s too feminine sounding in the age of Avas.
[name]Bishop[/name] - I think this is weird if you’re Catholic and weird if you’re not Catholic. It’s just an odd word to use as a name.
[name]Ezra[/name] - Nothing wrong with it, I just don’t care for it.
[name]Felix[/name] - This to me is so cliche hipster. It’s like the new [name]Oscar[/name], the old [name]Sebastian[/name]- it’s a very trendy name in its own right, just amongst a very specific group of people.
[name]Jarrett[/name]- Very dated, like [name]Garrett[/name] and [name]Jared[/name].
[name]Jasper[/name]- I always think of [name]Casper[/name] the friendly ghost.
[name]Silas[/name] - I prefer [name]Simon[/name].
