Did I found the perfect set? WDYT?

I am thinking to have 4 to 6 kids if nature lets me? I was looking for 4 boys and 4 girls names i love and would use for my kids and i think i found the perfect sets! [name]DO[/name] you think they go together? [name]Do[/name] you have other suggestions?

[name]Riley[/name] [name]Isabella[/name]
[name]Eden[/name] [name]Finley[/name]
[name]Rowan[/name] [name]Miley[/name]
[name]Noah[/name] [name]Hermione[/name]

[name]Wyatt[/name] [name]Jason[/name]
[name]Finn[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name]
[name]Rhys[/name] [name]Logan[/name]
[name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]

Of your names the only one I really love is [name]Finn[/name]. [name]Logan[/name] is kind of cute too  The others are not really my style, but I think they probably go together fine.

Actually I do think [name]Wyatt[/name] is a little too country western sounding to fit nicely with [name]Finn[/name].

This is weird to me. I love your boy names so much, [name]Wyatt[/name] and [name]Cole[/name] are favourites of mine and who doesn’t love [name]Finn[/name]? What’s weird is how much I really dislike your girl names! Im not one to be 100% against unisex names on girls, I just think they have to be the RIGHT ones. And I definitely don’t think you have the right ones here.

I don’t mind [name]Riley[/name], but its a bit overused.
[name]Piper[/name] on the other hand I love! Why not [name]Piper[/name] as a first name?
[name]Logan[/name], [name]Finley[/name], [name]Miley[/name], [name]Devin[/name] and [name]Bailey[/name] are all terrible to me, sorry!
Instead of [name]Aylin[/name], what about [name]Aileen[/name] (Eye-leen) or [name]Isla[/name] (Eye-la) ?

Some other unisex girl names that are very much unisex, but a bit more distinctively feminine:

Heres some sibsets with your boy names I would consider:
[name]Wyatt[/name], [name]Cole[/name], [name]Emmett[/name], [name]Finn[/name], [name]Piper[/name], [name]Aubrey[/name], [name]Laine[/name] & [name]Rory[/name].

[name]Wyatt[/name], [name]Cole[/name], [name]Emmett[/name], [name]Finn[/name], [name]Paige[/name], [name]Isla[/name], [name]Morgan[/name] & [name]Laine[/name].

I really hope you like [name]Laine[/name] and [name]Rory[/name], because they are my favourite unisex girl options with your favourite boy names!

Good luck!

Not too fond of your girls names, sorry, but I love [name]Finn[/name] [name]Matthew[/name]! That exact combination is #2 on my list!

I agree with bondsarah80, your boys list is awesome, but I’m not loving your girls list - I would have trouble distinguishing (on paper only, I’m sure!) who were the girls and who were the boys. To be fair, I do not love unisex names, and I’m a firm believer that there are so many lovely girls names already so there is no need to poach all the boys ones!! However, that being said, if you had not told me that they were girls names, and I had assumed that they were all names for boys, I think they all go together nicely, and thencongratulated you on such a cohesive list. So!! All in all I think that they all go together really well, but for me the girls names should be a bit more blatently feminine so people know that they are girls. Otherwise, I think you have a really good list!

I apreciate all the feedback!

Before I answer some posts Id like to explain something on my list
All girls names have 2 syllables, different beginletters and different pron endings. I pron [name]Devin[/name] ” [name]Deven[/name] BUT when I [name]Say[/name] [name]Aylin[/name] [name]Devin[/name] I am beginning to say them rhyme-y so I am considering switching [name]Piper[/name] and [name]Devin[/name] so itd be [name]Riley[/name] [name]Devin[/name] and [name]Piper[/name] [name]Bailey[/name]
Since my fave two girls names, [name]Riley[/name] and [name]Miley[/name], are so rhyme-y I looked for names that I truly love but don”t rhyme with each other. I chose [name]Riley[/name] to be a first name and degraded [name]Miley[/name] to a mn and then there was [name]Finley[/name] which I adore! So when I took that one as a mn I felt that the 4th name should also be a ”ey name and [name]Bailey[/name] is a name I liked for a long time but isn”t fn material for me.

I think i do want a more feminine girlslist but there are so little names i truly love like [name]Riley[/name]!
Never considered [name]Wyatt[/name] to be a countryname, nevertheless I still love it!
I dont really like [name]Aileen[/name] instead of [name]Aylin[/name] because i prn AY-lin and not EYE-leen. I kind of don”t like [name]Aubrey[/name] at all! [name]Rory[/name] is ok but it feels more masculine to me. I really like [name]Laine[/name] but woundt use it myself.

[name]Harper[/name] ” Wizards of [name]Waverly[/name] place ruined this for me!
[name]Aubrey[/name] ” Makes me kinda cringe
[name]Peyton[/name] ” I like it but it”s a P name, I love [name]Piper[/name] more
[name]Quinn[/name] ” I so love this name! I only had two problems, it rhymes with [name]Finn[/name] and I could use [name]Finley[/name] instead but then id have to ditch [name]Riley[/name] and that is my nr 1 name!
[name]Hadley[/name] - -EY name, so id have to ditch [name]Riley[/name] :”(
[name]Paige[/name] ” Is that an unisex name? It feels so feminine to me (as [name]Piper[/name]) but id only use one Pname and it would have to be [name]Piper[/name] then!
[name]Morgan[/name] ” Considered this one my list but with [name]Logan[/name], there would be two ”AN” endings
[name]Tegan[/name] ” same as [name]Morgan[/name] but I like [name]Morgan[/name] better
[name]Laine[/name] ” I like it! But I wouldt use it myself/
[name]Shelby[/name] ” Makes me cringe, sorry!
[name]Rory[/name] ” has somewhat a masculine vibe for me, sorry!
Blueberri, that”s so cool that you have the same name!

The girly names I like are
[name]Miley[/name], [name]Erin[/name], [name]Alyssa[/name], [name]Aylin[/name] (where I got it from it was a girlsname only), [name]Bella[/name] or [name]Isabella[/name],
I think that”s about it. However I am open to new suggestions. I am willing to make [name]Logan[/name] a mn so then id be [name]Riley[/name] [name]Logan[/name], keeping the ”EY middle names but the other 3 names non-rhyme-y and girlier. Anyone has idea”s?

Sorry for the rambling!

If [name]Logan[/name] is now a middle name, why not consider [name]Morgan[/name] as a first name?
[name]Morgan[/name], [name]Riley[/name], [name]Piper[/name] & [name]Aylin[/name] are starting to sound more like sisters to me!
I still don’t love [name]Aylin[/name], something about the spelling looks wrong… But if you love it thats all that matters!
And its too bad about [name]Quinn[/name] and [name]Finn[/name] rhyming, I definitely [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Quinn[/name] on a girl too! If you ever decide you don’t like [name]Finn[/name] anymore, keep [name]Quinn[/name] in mind!

What about Ailyn or Ailynn instead of [name]Aylin[/name], does that look better? Or other suggestions? I actually really like the thought of [name]Morgan[/name], [name]Riley[/name], [name]Piper[/name] and [name]Aylin[/name]! im gonna edit the first post.

[name]EDIT[/name]: I just realised, while trying to fit [name]Quinn[/name] into the list, that [name]Aylin[/name] and [name]Finn[/name] also rhyme. Asked my mother about [name]Morgan[/name] and she cant pronounce it. Its the R in the middle that is difficult for her. Im thinking of [name]Tegan[/name] instead. It doesnt have an R in it. Never thought id be this difficult!

I am really liking [name]Eden[/name] at the moment.

[name]Riley[/name], [name]Logan[/name], [name]Eden[/name] and … WDYT? I switched [name]Logan[/name] in again because the R problem with [name]Morgan[/name] (she cant speak english so its a bit of a problem)

Wouldt it be too odd to have two E’s in the set? What about [name]Beckett[/name] instead of [name]Emmett[/name]? Is that a good match? [name]Wyatt[/name], [name]Cole[/name], [name]Finn[/name] and [name]Beckett[/name].

Still want [name]Quinn[/name]! Would it be too odd to introduce my kids as [name]Riley[/name], [name]Eden[/name], [name]Cole[/name], [name]Finn[/name] and [name]Quinn[/name]?

Or an other suggestion?

[name]EDIT[/name]: Im thinking [name]Noah[/name] for a girl and [name]Quinlan[/name] for a boy. I love [name]Quinn[/name] on a girls but can see it on a boy and thus would add [name]Quinn[/name] to my list! However im not a fan of using nicknames but [name]Quinn[/name] could do and i love [name]Quinlan[/name] too

Dammit just saw it has the -an endig like [name]Logan[/name] does. But I pronounce it diff: LO-gun and [name]QUIN[/name]-len (like glenn)
Would it matter if possibly two siblings out of 6 have thesame ending?

[name]Riley[/name] [name]Logan[/name] - personally I think that this is very masculine - [name]Riley[/name] [name]Louise[/name], [name]Riley[/name] [name]Laura[/name] could be alternatives
[name]Piper[/name] [name]Finley[/name] - If you called your son [name]Finn[/name] I wouldn’t use this name - [name]Piper[/name] [name]Phillipa[/name], [name]Piper[/name] [name]Caroline[/name], [name]Piper[/name] [name]Jane[/name] but I love [name]Piper[/name]
[name]Aylin[/name] [name]Miley[/name] - I really like [name]Aylin[/name] but not paired with [name]Miley[/name] - [name]Aylin[/name] [name]Rose[/name], [name]Aylin[/name] [name]Willow[/name], [name]Aylin[/name] [name]Rebecca[/name], [name]Aylin[/name] [name]Mirielle[/name]
[name]Morgan[/name] [name]Bailey[/name] - I perfer [name]Morgan[/name] on a boy but I do like this name

  • I think that a lot of your girls names are very similar [name]Riley[/name], [name]Finley[/name], [name]Miley[/name] and [name]Bailey[/name]

[name]Wyatt[/name] [name]Jason[/name]
[name]Cole[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name]
[name]Emmett[/name] [name]Tyler[/name]
[name]Finn[/name] [name]Matthew[/name]

  • I love all of your boys names, my only comment is that [name]Wyatt[/name] and [name]Emmett[/name] but have the tt ending

[name]Hope[/name] this helps!

I know [name]Wyatt[/name] and [name]Emmett[/name] both have thesame TT ending but they have a different ending sound, wy-ut and emm-et,

I love [name]Riley[/name] and [name]Miley[/name], so [name]Miley[/name] went to mn and I also really like [name]Finn[/name] and [name]Finley[/name], why [name]Finley[/name] is another mn. [name]Bailey[/name] is the only other -ey name i really love and i thought, 3 have an -ey name, so so should have nr 4

[name]Riley[/name] [name]Logan[/name]-I think [name]Rylie[/name] is a much prettier spelling, but, its a very nice combo
[name]Piper[/name] [name]Finley[/name]-I really dont like [name]Finley[/name] or [name]Piper[/name]. I mean, where did [name]Finley[/name] come from?
[name]Aylin[/name] [name]Miley[/name]-I loovvee it! [name]Aylin[/name] is beautiful and I really like [name]Miley[/name], to be honest!
[name]Morgan[/name] [name]Bailey[/name]-I really like [name]Bailey[/name] but I think that I like the spelling [name]Baylee[/name] better, really. I just really dont like [name]Morgan[/name], it sounds more like a last name than a first name.

[name]Wyatt[/name] [name]Jason[/name]-I dont like [name]Wyatt[/name], its a really weird name, but [name]Jason[/name] is really nice.
[name]Cole[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name]-I like [name]Christopher[/name] better, and I like [name]Cole[/name], actually.
[name]Emmett[/name] [name]Tyler[/name]-I like both names and I think they go together nicely.

I have really started to like the girl name [name]Kasey[/name]/[name]Casey[/name], and I think it would go well with some of your girl names that you’ve chosen:
[name]Kasey[/name] [name]Logan[/name]
[name]Miley[/name] [name]Casey[/name]
[name]Casey[/name] [name]Morgan[/name]
[name]Bailey[/name] [name]Kasey[/name]

[name]Riley[/name] [name]Isabella[/name]
[name]Eden[/name] [name]Finley[/name]
[name]Logan[/name] [name]Miley[/name]
[name]Noah[/name] [name]Bailey[/name] (need a good mn for [name]Noah[/name]!)

[name]Noah[/name] & [name]Logan[/name] are USUALLY boys names, you might have issues there down the road, especially because both are SO popular right now… Your little girl may be in a sea of [name]Noah[/name] or [name]Logan[/name] and be the only girl.

[name]Miley[/name], [name]Bailey[/name], [name]Finley[/name] all go together except [name]Isabella[/name]. What if you did [name]Isabella[/name] [name]Riley[/name]?

I really don’t like the name [name]Miley[/name], I’m sorry.

Where i live, Belgium, there arent many Logans and I know two [name]Noa[/name]/h’s, a boy and a girl.
Why not [name]Isabella[/name] [name]Riley[/name]? Because I love both names but [name]Isabella[/name] is too frilly next to [name]Eden[/name] and [name]Noah[/name].

Im also liking [name]Rowan[/name] better because of the highly ‘male’ rating of [name]Logan[/name]. I degradet it to a mn.

Thanks for your response anyways! Ill edit the first page with my newer list (which changes because i find so much fails in my set :p)

What about [name]Rory[/name] [name]Isabella[/name], [name]Eden[/name] [name]Fiona[/name], and [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Miranda[/name]? I love [name]Rory[/name] [name]Isabella[/name] and [name]Eden[/name] [name]Fiona[/name] - especially that last one - for girls. I don’t like two children to have names starting with the same initial, personally, but it’s okay if you do. And, for me, [name]Noah[/name] is too boyish. Sorry!

[name]Wyatt[/name] is great. [name]Jason[/name] is so-so, because it sounds a little dated. Does it honor family? What about [name]Wyatt[/name] [name]Jameson[/name]? [name]Finn[/name] is cute, but what about [name]Finley[/name] “[name]Finn[/name]” [name]Kristopher[/name]? [name]Rhys[/name] is amazing! [name]Nicholas[/name] feels a little classic in this set, I think, but it is a great name. I think I prefer [name]Rhys[/name] [name]Nicholas[/name] and [name]Logan[/name] [name]Quinn[/name] - well, [name]Logan[/name] [name]Quinn[/name] isn’t ideal, but that’s okay…

[name]Lemon[/name]

[name]Lemon[/name] :-)[/quote]

I wasnt fond of the two R’s too but I just love both names! And i though, [name]Riley[/name] and [name]Rhys[/name] or [name]Rowan[/name] and [name]Rhys[/name] would still have two R’s.

I quite like [name]Rory[/name] but i have a non-english speaking family so [name]Rory[/name] would sound very icky when my mother says it, [name]Riley[/name], [name]Rowan[/name] or [name]Rhys[/name] sound ‘normal’ with a dutch R.
I really like [name]Fiona[/name] too! The mn, at this point, are names i love but can’t use as a fn.

[name]Jason[/name] isnt a familyname but just a name i love. I fell in love with it, same as [name]Kristopher[/name], on a cute little boy (twins actually) and i always said ‘if I have twins ill call them [name]Jason[/name] and [name]Kristopher[/name]’, i still (after 5 years) [name]LOVE[/name] the names so they are mn.

I am in love with [name]Finley[/name], ‘[name]Finn[/name]’, but i dont think it goes with [name]Riley[/name]. And even if it did, i’d like [name]Finley[/name] more for a girl. Im weird like that
I do think [name]Nicholas[/name] is a little classic indeed in this set. I really like [name]Nick[/name] but i feel that [name]Wyatt[/name] falls out of the boat with 3 one syllable (potential) brothers. Im usually not for nicknames but i dont think [name]Nicholas[/name] ‘[name]Nick[/name]’ is a nickname, its just the name shorter. He’ll still be [name]Nicholas[/name] in school, on birthdaycards, …

I love [name]Logan[/name] but with [name]Rowan[/name] and [name]Eden[/name], it is too much!

I love [name]Noah[/name] for a girl (or [name]Noa[/name]) thats why [name]Hermione[/name] (clearly feminine) as a mn.

If i go for [name]Finley[/name] instead of [name]Riley[/name], [name]Riley[/name] will be the mn and [name]Finn[/name] will be replaced with [name]Justin[/name]. Really like that name!
Or do you think I should consider mn and then [name]Finley[/name] and [name]Riley[/name] can be brother and sister? In my family we arent used to nicknames like that though. My brothers nickname is H. His name is [name]Ronald[/name]. Doesnt make sense, does it?

Thanks for your insight!

I’m going to reply regarding the names currently on your initial post - I think they’ve been edited since the start of this thread!

[name]Riley[/name] [name]Isabella[/name] - both VERY popular names at the moment, but if you love them, go for it.
[name]Eden[/name] [name]Finley[/name] - Beautiful!
[name]Rowan[/name] [name]Miley[/name] - I prefer [name]Rowan[/name] as [name]Rowen[/name] for girls. It’s very pretty, but I don’t like [name]Miley[/name] at all.
[name]Noah[/name] [name]Hermione[/name] - [name]Miley[/name] and [name]Noah[/name] are the [name]Cyrus[/name] sisters  I don’t like [name]Noah[/name] for a girl, [name]Hermione[/name] is alright.

[name]Wyatt[/name] [name]Jason[/name] - I like [name]Wyatt[/name], [name]Jason[/name] not so much.
[name]Finn[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name] - [name]Finn[/name] is fantastic! Although I wouldn’t use it with [name]Finley[/name], despite [name]Finley[/name] being in the mn position. Too close. I much prefer [name]Christopher[/name] to [name]Kristopher[/name].
[name]Rhys[/name] [name]Logan[/name] - ooh good combo! I love it!
[name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Quinn[/name] - Again, a great combo, although be aware [name]Quinn[/name] is increasingly used for girls these days.

My favourites from your list - [name]Eden[/name] [name]Finley[/name] and [name]Rhys[/name] [name]Logan[/name].

yes, to keep it easier i edited my list. If you like I can set the first set up again. Thanks for responding!

I didnt realise [name]Miley[/name] [name]Cyrus[/name]’ sister was named [name]Noah[/name]. Dont know any of her siblings by name.

I like [name]Rowen[/name] alot! But isnt [name]Rowen[/name]/[name]Eden[/name] too close in spelling then [name]Rowan[/name], which make them seem to not rhyme if you know what i mean?
