So my DH is really wanting to incorporate his father’s name"[name_m]Roland[/name_m]" pronounced Raw-lind into a future son (possibly daughter?) name. The issue is A. I don’t like the name and B. My grandma was last coherent before she died in [name_m]Rollins[/name_m], [name_f]Missouri[/name_f] while on a trip. It’s said the same way so it’s a HUGE turn off. His middle name is [name_u]Roy[/name_u] which I associate to a dog’s name. So my question is, is there any names, variations etc that might work to honor his father? All suggestions appreciated!! I really like [name_m]Rollo[/name_m] and [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] for a boy. There are many lovely girl names: [name_f]Rowena[/name_f], Rowenna, [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_f]Roisin[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Rosie[/name_f], [name_f]Romilly[/name_f], [name_u]Romy[/name_u] among my favourites.
Some great suggestions I’ll add [name_m]Royston[/name_m] & [name_u]Rawley[/name_u]
[name_u]Rawley[/name_u] could also be a girls name
