[name_u]Aidan[/name_u] or [name_u]Aiden[/name_u]
[name_m]Austin[/name_m] or [name_u]Austen[/name_u]
[name_f]Crystal[/name_f] or [name_f]Krystal[/name_f]
[name_u]Lexi[/name_u] or [name_u]Lexie[/name_u]
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] or [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]
[name_u]Cai[/name_u] or [name_u]Kai[/name_u]
[name_u]Dylan[/name_u] or [name_u]Dillon[/name_u]
And what are some names you love that have different spellings?
[name_u]Aidan[/name_u] or [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] - [name_u]Aiden[/name_u]
[name_m]Austin[/name_m] or [name_u]Austen[/name_u] - [name_m]Austin[/name_m]
[name_f]Crystal[/name_f] or [name_f]Krystal[/name_f] - [name_f]Crystal[/name_f]
[name_u]Lexi[/name_u] or [name_u]Lexie[/name_u] - [name_u]Lexi[/name_u]
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] or [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] - [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] (although I ultimately prefer [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f])
[name_u]Cai[/name_u] or [name_u]Kai[/name_u] - [name_u]Kai[/name_u]
[name_u]Dylan[/name_u] or [name_u]Dillon[/name_u] - [name_u]Dylan[/name_u]
I really like [name_f]Faye[/name_f], and I’ve seen it spelled [name_f]Fay[/name_f] and [name_f]Faye[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Faye[/name_f] better because it’s more balanced. Also a fan of [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u], which has a lot of different spellings. [name_f]Marlo[/name_f], [name_u]Marlow[/name_u], [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]…I don’t know why I like [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] better. But it’s my favorite.
[name_u]Aidan[/name_u] or [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] [name_m]Austin[/name_m] or [name_u]Austen[/name_u] [name_f]Crystal[/name_f] or [name_f]Krystal[/name_f] [name_u]Lexi[/name_u] or [name_u]Lexie[/name_u] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] or [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]
[name_u]Cai[/name_u] or [name_u]Kai[/name_u]
[name_u]Dylan[/name_u] or [name_u]Dillon[/name_u] - I go back and fourth on this one. I think I very slightly prefer [name_u]Dylan[/name_u].
[name_u]Aidan[/name_u] or [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] - [name_u]Aidan[/name_u]. I like repitition of letters.
[name_m]Austin[/name_m] or [name_u]Austen[/name_u] - [name_m]Austin[/name_m].
[name_f]Crystal[/name_f] or [name_f]Krystal[/name_f] - [name_f]Crystal[/name_f]. It holds closer to the origin.
[name_u]Lexi[/name_u] or [name_u]Lexie[/name_u] - [name_u]Lexie[/name_u]. It looks more complete. I don’t like names that end in i, because it reminds me of drinks like Bellani, Martini, although [name_u]Lexi[/name_u] IS closer to the derivitive.
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] or [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] - [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]. Because it looks stronger.
[name_u]Cai[/name_u] or [name_u]Kai[/name_u] - [name_u]Kai[/name_u]. Because it looks like [name_u]Cai[/name_u] would have a different pronounciation.
[name_u]Dylan[/name_u] or [name_u]Dillon[/name_u] - [name_u]Dylan[/name_u]. [name_u]Dillon[/name_u] reminds me of [name_m]Dijon[/name_m] mustard, or [name_m]Dillard[/name_m]'s.
[name_u]Aidan[/name_u]
[name_u]Austen[/name_u] (Reminds me of [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Austen[/name_u], [name_m]Austin[/name_m] reminds me of [name_m]Austin[/name_m] [name_m]Powers[/name_m])
[name_f]Crystal[/name_f]
[name_u]Lexi[/name_u]
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f]
[name_u]Kai[/name_u] ([name_u]Love[/name_u] this!)
[name_u]Dylan[/name_u]
I also love [name_f]Fae[/name_f], but there’s also [name_f]Faye[/name_f]/[name_f]Fay[/name_f]/[name_f]Fey[/name_f]
I prefer [name_f]Linnaea[/name_f] to [name_f]Linnea[/name_f]
I prefer Helaina to [name_f]Helena[/name_f] (it’s an Ancient Greek variant)
I prefer [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] to [name_f]Siena[/name_f]
[name_u]Aidan[/name_u]
[name_m]Austin[/name_m]
[name_f]Crystal[/name_f] ([name_f]My[/name_f] name. )
[name_u]Lexie[/name_u] (I like both, but the e makes it seem a little more complete.)
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f]
[name_u]Kai[/name_u]
[name_u]Dylan[/name_u]
[name_u]Aiden[/name_u]
[name_m]Austin[/name_m] for a boy, [name_u]Austen[/name_u] for a girl
[name_f]Crystal[/name_f] - I can’t do K names!
[name_u]Lexie[/name_u] - I agree with those who said they don’t like names that end in i
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] or [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] - Pretty 50/50. [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] is a family name, though. I like the nns [name_f]Cate[/name_f] and [name_u]Kit[/name_u] equally so that doesn’t help.
[name_u]Cai[/name_u] - Because I prefer it as a nn for [name_m]Caius[/name_m]
[name_u]Dylan[/name_u] -Though I feel I should say [name_u]Dillon[/name_u] as that’s my nephew’s name
[name_u]Aidan[/name_u] or [name_u]Aiden[/name_u]- [name_u]Aiden[/name_u]. The other makes me want to say Ai-[name_m]DAN[/name_m]
[name_m]Austin[/name_m] or [name_u]Austen[/name_u]- [name_m]Austin[/name_m]. I’ve never heard of it spelled the other way but I kinda like the [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Austen[/name_u] association.
[name_f]Crystal[/name_f] or [name_f]Krystal[/name_f]- [name_f]Crystal[/name_f]. I generally don’t like K names
[name_u]Lexi[/name_u] or [name_u]Lexie[/name_u]- [name_u]Lexi[/name_u]. [name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] so I’m bias.
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] or [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]- [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]. I think it looks cleaner.
[name_u]Cai[/name_u] or [name_u]Kai[/name_u]- [name_u]Kai[/name_u]. seems more natural.
[name_u]Dylan[/name_u] or [name_u]Dillon[/name_u]- [name_u]Dylan[/name_u]. [name_u]Dillon[/name_u] reminds me of Dill.
[name_u]Aidan[/name_u] or [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] - [name_u]Aidan[/name_u]. I prefer the traditional spelling.
[name_m]Austin[/name_m] or [name_u]Austen[/name_u] - [name_u]Austen[/name_u]. I like the more literary association.
[name_f]Crystal[/name_f] or [name_f]Krystal[/name_f] - [name_f]Crystal[/name_f]. I prefer the original spelling
[name_u]Lexi[/name_u] or [name_u]Lexie[/name_u] - [name_u]Lexie[/name_u]. But only as a nickname.
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] or [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] - [name_f]Katherine[/name_f], though both are nice. I think this looks a tad more modern.
[name_u]Cai[/name_u] or [name_u]Kai[/name_u] - [name_u]Kai[/name_u]. I prefer the original spelling.
[name_u]Dylan[/name_u] or [name_u]Dillon[/name_u] - [name_u]Dylan[/name_u]. I like the connection to [name_m]Bob[/name_m] [name_u]Dylan[/name_u].
[name_u]Aidan[/name_u] or [name_u]Aiden[/name_u]- [name_u]Aidan[/name_u]. I generally prefer A over E in names. ([name_u]Lindsay[/name_u], [name_u]Skylar[/name_u], etc.)
[name_m]Austin[/name_m] or [name_u]Austen[/name_u]- I like [name_m]Austin[/name_m] better on a boy, but I think [name_u]Austen[/name_u] is awfully cute on a girl.
[name_f]Crystal[/name_f] or [name_f]Krystal[/name_f]- [name_f]Crystal[/name_f]. I ultimately dislike either name, but [name_f]Krystal[/name_f] looks wrong.
[name_u]Lexi[/name_u] or [name_u]Lexie[/name_u]- [name_u]Lexie[/name_u]. It looks unfinished without the E, but I only really like it when it is used as nn.
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] or [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]- [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]. It looks really outdated with a C.
[name_u]Cai[/name_u] or [name_u]Kai[/name_u]- [name_u]Kai[/name_u] 100%. I like the look of it and I find it more phonetic.
[name_u]Dylan[/name_u] or [name_u]Dillon[/name_u]- I like [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] better on either gender.
One name spelling that I’m debating about is [name_f]Cadence[/name_f] vs. [name_f]Kadence[/name_f]. I love the name, but I really can’t decide on one.
[name_u]Aidan[/name_u] or [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] [name_m]Austin[/name_m] or [name_u]Austen[/name_u] [name_f]Crystal[/name_f] or [name_f]Krystal[/name_f]
[name_u]Lexi[/name_u] or [name_u]Lexie[/name_u]
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] or [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]
[name_u]Cai[/name_u] or [name_u]Kai[/name_u] [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] or [name_u]Dillon[/name_u]
[name_u]Aidan[/name_u] or [name_u]Aiden[/name_u]- [name_u]Aidan[/name_u] just because it’s the original and what I got used to seeing
[name_m]Austin[/name_m] or [name_u]Austen[/name_u]- [name_m]Austin[/name_m] because I think of the city and it’s the oldest spelling. [name_u]Austen[/name_u] just makes me think of [name_f]Jane[/name_f].
[name_f]Crystal[/name_f] or [name_f]Krystal[/name_f]: [name_f]Crystal[/name_f] since it’s a word name and that’s how you spell it.
[name_u]Lexi[/name_u] or [name_u]Lexie[/name_u]: [name_u]Lexi[/name_u] because it’s closer to the names it usually derives from like [name_u]Alexis[/name_u], [name_f]Alexia[/name_f], etc.
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] or [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]: [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] only because I’ve gotten along better with the K ones. I don’t get the C vs K hatred. Some languages use Cs for the harsh sound some use Ks.
[name_u]Cai[/name_u] or [name_u]Kai[/name_u]: [name_u]Kai[/name_u] because it’s the original. I also tend (always exceptions) to like Ks for names when you want the harsh sound, since [name_u]Cai[/name_u] could be a weird spelling for [name_u]Si[/name_u].
[name_u]Dylan[/name_u] or [name_u]Dillon[/name_u]- [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] the original and even though it is a surname, [name_u]Dillon[/name_u] feels more surname-y to me.
[name_u]Aidan[/name_u] or [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] [name_m]Austin[/name_m] or [name_u]Austen[/name_u] [name_f]Crystal[/name_f] or [name_f]Krystal[/name_f]
[name_u]Lexi[/name_u] or [name_u]Lexie[/name_u]
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] or [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]
[name_u]Cai[/name_u] or [name_u]Kai[/name_u] [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] or [name_u]Dillon[/name_u]
[name_u]Aidan[/name_u]
[name_m]Austin[/name_m] (unless I was naming them after [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Austen[/name_u])
[name_f]Crystal[/name_f]
[name_u]Lexie[/name_u]
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f]
[name_u]Kai[/name_u]
[name_u]Dillon[/name_u]
Some more I like are:
[name_m]Beau[/name_m] ([name_u]Bo[/name_u])
[name_m]Caspar[/name_m] ([name_m]Casper[/name_m])
[name_u]Skyler[/name_u] ([name_u]Skylar[/name_u], [name_u]Schuyler[/name_u])
[name_u]Sascha[/name_u] ([name_u]Sacha[/name_u], [name_u]Sasha[/name_u])
[name_u]Charley[/name_u] ([name_u]Charlie[/name_u])
[name_f]Lilah[/name_f] ([name_f]Lila[/name_f])
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f] ([name_f]Maisy[/name_f], Maizy)
[name_u]Shae[/name_u] ([name_u]Shea[/name_u], [name_u]Shay[/name_u])
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] ([name_f]Isabel[/name_f], [name_f]Isobel[/name_f])
[name_f]Lillie[/name_f] ([name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Lilly[/name_f])
[name_u]Arlo[/name_u] (I know I saw one and it was something like Arloughx?? It definitely had gh and x in it and it was not an attractive spelling)
[name_f]Margo[/name_f] ([name_f]Margaux[/name_f])
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] ([name_u]Eliot[/name_u], [name_u]Elliott[/name_u], [name_u]Eliott[/name_u])
[name_m]Feliks[/name_m] ([name_m]Felix[/name_m])
[name_u]Gray[/name_u] ([name_u]Grey[/name_u])
[name_m]Frederick[/name_m]
[name_u]Aidan[/name_u] … I see the word aide with [name_u]Aiden[/name_u]
[name_m]Austin[/name_m] for a boy, [name_u]Austen[/name_u] for a girl
[name_f]Crystal[/name_f] … just prefer the traditional spelling
[name_u]Lexi[/name_u] … and then prefer only as a nn
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f]/[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] is one of my least favorite names, but would more likely use K version
[name_u]Kai[/name_u] … I wouldn’t intuitively know how to pronounce [name_u]Cai[/name_u]
[name_u]Dylan[/name_u] … the other version makes me think of pickles
