It’s not risky at all! First, it’s spelled [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] and the mermaid is spelled [name_u]Ariel[/name_u]. Also, I know an [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] and she never gets teased for her name. As for pronunciation difficulties, people will learn after a while if they pronounce it wrong at first.

Speaking of mermaids, my husband and I can’t figure out why the Disney mermaid is pronounced [name_f]Aerial[/name_f] …
We pronounce [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] Are-e-el
Spelled [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] I can’t imagine anyone would associate or pronounce oddly.
If you both like it it’s probably perfect for you.
Also I think it can age well.

[name_f]Arielle[/name_f] is pretty! I think the spelling indicates the difference in pn and it can always be corrected

I must say, I think [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] is ok. However, since I read about this influencer [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] Charnas, I must think of her. I don’t like her at all. I find her obnoxious.

I know a little girl called [name_f]Ariella[/name_f]. That’s similar but can’t be really be associated with The [name_m]Little[/name_m] Marmaid. I do know an [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] and she was teased as a child and is still brought up with new people. So it’s definitely a possibility, I would say. Although [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] is not quite the same.

Thanks all…

[name_m]Ive[/name_m] just see there os a remake of the little mermaid next year… i think that could exasperatr issues too…
