We are expecting a boy after having two girls, [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] ([name_u]Joss[/name_u]) and [name_f]Elise[/name_f] [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] ([name_f]Ellie[/name_f]). [name_m]Both[/name_m] of my girls names are feminine and a bit old fashioned. Finding boys names that work well is difficult.
Boys names we both like [name_u]Everett[/name_u], [name_u]Mason[/name_u] (would have been one of our girls names but now is very popular), [name_u]Emmett[/name_u], [name_u]Owen[/name_u] (my husbands likes), [name_m]Dawson[/name_m] (love it but rhymes with [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] which could be very confusing). We have friends or family with these names: [name_m]Nolan[/name_m], [name_u]Evan[/name_u], killian, jaxon, [name_m]Donovan[/name_m], [name_u]Conner[/name_u], [name_m]Liam[/name_m], [name_u]Carter[/name_u], [name_u]Ryan[/name_u]- so those should be avoided as we see these people a lot. Also no middle names have been thought of yet …
Another tricky thing is our last name starts with k and is one syllable so names that end in c/k don’t work well nor do one syllable first names because it sounds like one long word. I’m really stumped and have been looking everywhere - my husband likes names that he’s heard of(limiting), have hard endings and at least 2 syllables… Any suggestions would be very much appreciated as boys are tricky to name!
