Thoughts on Dino Valentine, we have a 4 syllable Italian last name that starts with the De sound.

How are you pronouncing [name_m]Dino[/name_m]? If it’s dee-no, I think [name_m]Dino[/name_m] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] is great! If it’s dye-no, then it makes me think of dinosaur-themed valentine’s day cards.

I think [name_m]Dino[/name_m] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] is really handsome! [name_m]Dino[/name_m] is very cool, makes me think of [name_u]Dean[/name_u] [name_m]Martin[/name_m] (his real name was Dino!). And [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] has been a favorite of mine for a long time!

this was my first thought as well, but it being pronounced dee-no does make it a bit better.

I like [name_m]Dino[/name_m] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] but it causes me pause as the most important combination is the first name flow with the last name and [name_m]Dino[/name_m] De seems like it would be repetitive and maybe sing-songy? I feel that the flow of those two names are the most important as in real day-to-day life, we don’t say all three names together and most acquaintances don’t even know our middle name.

I think [name_m]Dino[/name_m] with your last name sounds fine. The repeating sounds make it more memorable in my opinion. If it’s an option, I think [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] [name_m]Dino[/name_m] is lovely, too!

(also, I know someone with the same last name! I’ve never seen it anywhere else so had to mention it!!)

It’s not for me simply because it reminds me too much of dinosaurs, apart from that, and I’m not super familiar with Italian trends, it feels rather dated to me?
I do think I prefer it as a nickname overall.
