I’m a BIG fan of this show from the 90s. It was like a cross between sci-fi, fantasy, action, drama and even comedy. It sometimes drew inspiration from [name]Shakespeare[/name], believe it or not, and much of the voice cast was on [name]Star[/name] Trek!
They also have interesting names on the show, and I wondered if anyone here would name their kids or characters these names.
[name]Goliath[/name] - the leader, named for being so strong, yet [name]David[/name] & [name]Goliath[/name] was mentioned one time
[name]Hudson[/name] - the old wise one
[name]Brooklyn[/name] - the one with a street attitude (male)
Broadway - the one with a big stomach, who ends up loving books
Lexington - the one who loves technology
[name]Bronx[/name] - the one that’s closest to a dog
[name]Angela[/name] - the new one from the mystical land of [name]Avalon[/name]
Demona - the former ally and [name]Goliath[/name]‘s ex; a tragic character
[name]David[/name] - [name]David[/name] Xanatos, the main antagonist
[name]Owen[/name] - Xanatos’ loyal assistant
[name]Fox[/name] - Xanatos’ love interest, and former TV celebrity. [name]Fox[/name] is her name. Legally.
[name]Elisa[/name] - [name]Elisa[/name] Maza, tough NY detective
Macbeth - antagonist of Demona, though not friends with the rest of the clan
[name]Puck[/name] - magical trickster
[name]Oberon[/name] - Puck’s master
[name]Titania[/name] - Puck’s master’s wife
[name]Derek[/name] - [name]Elisa[/name]'s policeman brother
[name]Anton[/name] - [name]Anton[/name] Sevarius; whimsical, mad, overly-dramatic scientist
[name]Katherine[/name] - princess of medieval [name]Scotland[/name], where Gargoyles originated
*She has a loyal wizard friend who’s only known as Magus who loves her, though I don’t know if it’s his name.
[name]Constantine[/name] - bad man who overthrew the king of [name]Scotland[/name]
[name]Finella[/name] - princess who was to marry [name]Constantine[/name], until he changed his mind, prompting her to take revenge
[name]Anton[/name] also created several evil clones of the main cast, having fun with crooked science. I like some of the names but they’re not all very important characters, so I thought I’d add them here anyway.
Thailog - the first, a sinister clone of [name]Goliath[/name](Thailog is almost [name]Goliath[/name] spelled backwards). He was bred to be as powerful as [name]Goliath[/name], but became smarter than Xanatos, and rich.
I just added it to be complete; obviously not a good name.

There were a lot of characters, major and minor, but I’ll leave it here.
I gotta admit, I searched some of these names on here jokingly at first, and was totally surprised at what was listed as a name, and what wasn’t! (Really, [name]Bronx[/name] but not Lexington??)
So which names could work for you, and which names should be left in the show?
I kinda like Brentwood, Malibu, Lexington (as mentioned), [name]Hudson[/name], [name]Anton[/name] and [name]Finella[/name], despite some of those being villain names.
[name]Avalon[/name] (from Arthurian legend) is another name we’ve spoken of, though in the middle slot. And [name]Derek[/name] is set as stone as the name for our first son, despite the response we’ve gotten from most people. However, that’s one I never connected to the show before - to me, that’s just an added benefit
