[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! Again, my apologies for all the posts, it’s been a difficult week.
Last night, I fell in love with the idea of creating this all-girl sibset:
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f]
[name_u]Frankie[/name_u] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f]
[name_f]Sunday[/name_f] [name_f]Nora[/name_f]
A few questions about it:
- Is it too a or s/z heavy where the sounds of the names are concerned?
- If I had to remove one of these names and replace it with another, I’d probably remove [name_f]Tessa[/name_f]. As much as I love it, I don’t feel as emotionally attached to it as I do the others. I’d probably replace it with [name_f]Bridget[/name_f]. If you could remove one of the names, which would it be and why? What would you choose to replace it?
- Any other suggestions?
Thank you so much!!

Not too s/z heavy.
I like [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] better than [name_f]Tessa[/name_f].
I would remove [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] because I dislike the sound. I would replace it with [name_f]Francesca[/name_f], if you still wanted to use the nickname.
Otherwise I’d replace it with [name_f]Maia[/name_f].
In general:
- I think [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] go nicely together, but [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] kind of stick out
- I also feel like [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] don’t go well with each other as they are different styles
- it doesn’t really matter as the most important thing is that you like the individually, though!
- [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is super cute but I prefer [name_f]Margaux[/name_f]
- [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] is fine but I prefer [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] or [name_f]Eline[/name_f]
- [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f] could make a comeback but right now I prefer [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]
- [name_f]Nora[/name_f] is cute
A really cute sibset would be:
[name_f]Margot[/name_f]
Élodie
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Karine[/name_f]
(French style)
[name_u]Or[/name_u]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] or [name_f]Opal[/name_f] or [name_f]May[/name_f]
(early 1900s style)
or
[name_f]Kathleen[/name_f]
[name_f]Marilyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f]
[name_f]Elaine[/name_f]
(40s/50s style)
Suggestions:
[name_f]Nona[/name_f]
[name_f]Nina[/name_f]
[name_f]Nola[/name_f]
[name_f]Noreen[/name_f]
[name_f]Nancy[/name_f]
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Katerina[/name_f]
[name_f]Eline[/name_f]
[name_f]Elina[/name_f]
Élodie
Éliane
[name_f]Eliana[/name_f]
[name_f]Elora[/name_f]
[name_f]Margaux[/name_f]
[name_f]Marilyn[/name_f]
[name_u]Cleo[/name_u]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Opal[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucille[/name_f]
[name_f]Elaine[/name_f]
[name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Carine[/name_f]
[name_f]Karine[/name_f]
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u]
[name_f]Cassia[/name_f]
[name_f]Cassandra[/name_f]

@EagleEyes Thank you so much!! I was worried that it was a little too much, so thank you!! I really appreciate your thoughts on [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] too.
It’s usually not my style, so I am surprised that somehow this one is. I don’t know! I love a few very select word names, and wouldn’t choose any other day of the week names. I feel like [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] snuck up on me! Unfortunately, [name_f]Nora[/name_f] is out as a choice for a first name. Otherwise, that would be it! So I put it in the middle spot instead.
I LOVE [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] so much and I hope to use it one day!!
And also [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is so sweet!
Thank you so much for your reply! 🩵💛
@Mayblossom Thank you so much!! I never thought to use Maia! I love that idea! I think I am liking Bridget more than Tessa as well. And I think I am liking your suggestion of Charlie more than Frankie. As cute as both are, Charlie feels softer. Elodie is beautiful and sweet too!
Thank you again for your reply!!

I don’t think it’s too s/z heavy at all.
I would replace [name_u]Frankie[/name_u]. I’m personally not a huge fan, it’s much more unisex than the rest of the list, and it’s sticking out to me as different in some other way that I think might be because it doesn’t have the s/z sound that the other firsts have. I’d go with [name_f]Frances[/name_f] as a replacement. Still has [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] as a nickname option, adds that s/z to feel more cohesive with the others, and is a little less unisex feeling.

@sammaegre Thank you so much!! I’m thinking you are right that it stands out too much because it doesn’t have an s or z, or an a on the end. I think I want to eliminate [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] for sure now. I knew there was a reason I was feeling strange about it. I really appreciate you pointing this out, there are much better names here!
Thank you again!!

[name_f]Sunday[/name_f] [name_f]Nora[/name_f] is gorgeous!!

- Not too s/z heavy
- I would probably remove [name_u]Frankie[/name_u], to me it feels a little mismatched with the rest. I do think that significance of individual names is more important than overall cohesiveness, though, so any of these sibsets work! [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_u]Frankie[/name_u], [name_f]Bridget[/name_f], and [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] are so beautiful together.
- Maybe [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Evie[/name_f], [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], or [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]?

@rubylark Thank you so much!! I am really loving [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] [name_f]Nora[/name_f] right now! I don’t feel like [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] is the best option anymore. I think I’m falling out of love with it. I LOVE your suggestion of [name_f]Evie[/name_f], that is one of my favorite names!! What do you think about [name_u]Josie[/name_u]? I’d would be another honored name like [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]. Overall, I think I prefer [name_f]Evie[/name_f] though. I love [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], and I wish I could use it, but I know too many!
Thank you again for your reply! 🩵🤍

I like Josie!! I think it would be a perfect replacement for Frankie because it matches the spunky, nickname-y style but is a little more feminine (which like other posters pointed out was what made Frankie feel out of place to me). I’m really loving your style!

@rubylark Thank you, that means so much! Now I can see what everyone was saying and I’m so happy I eliminated [name_u]Frankie[/name_u]!

Ooh, these are a fun, sparky set - vintage, charming and bright. I don’t think it has too many s/z sounds.
-
I think I’d remove [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] too, because of the similarity between [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and I know how much you love [name_f]Eliza[/name_f].
I’d consider: [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f], [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and… [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_u]Billie[/name_u] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] or [name_f]Nina[/name_f] [name_f]Harriet[/name_f]
-
Keeping the set as it is, I’d add, [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], [name_u]Josie[/name_u] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] or [name_f]Joanie[/name_f] [name_u]Florence[/name_u]

@Greyblue Thank you so much!!
I think the similarities between [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], and the hard sound of [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] compared to the others were bothering me. I always forget about [name_f]Nina[/name_f]! And I LOVE [name_f]Olive[/name_f] and [name_u]Billie[/name_u], especially [name_f]Olive[/name_f]! [name_u]Josie[/name_u] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] is very sweet!
Thank you again!
