Hey all! I am working on a children’s book and need names for several characters from different countries. About half are girls and half are boys. Looking for names that are true to these countries and cultures, but that are easy enough to pronounce.
I need girls names that are Vietnamese, Swahili, Polish, Japanese, Portuguese, and [name_m]French[/name_m].
I need boys names that are Italian, Filipino, Dutch, and Norwegian.
Thank you in advance!
Some of my favorite names…

Dutch - [name_u]Nick[/name_u], [name_m]Donnie[/name_m], [name_m]Peter[/name_m], [name_m]Hank[/name_m] are all Dutch guys I know
Something I’ve learned is there are common names in a lot of European/Western countries. Maybe a slight spelling variation, definitely a difference in pronunciation or an accent above a vowel. It’s usually the last name that makes things stand out. Like a lot of Dutch last names start with “van” or “de”
Thank you! I have names now for all except a Filipino boys name!
Edited= under baby name games, there’d a Filipino name CAF, you can grab ideas from there.
