Oli’s middle name is from his [name_f]Oma[/name_f], [name_f]Theodosia[/name_f], Ranboo’s middle name is [name_m]Jefferson[/name_m] after his dad, and Adeline’s name originated from her mom [name_m]Athens[/name_m] [name_f]Adelina[/name_f]
DYHAC who lives in a different country (or related thing if they don’t have countries really) from where they were born?
[name_f]Ginevra[/name_f] [name_m]Gilbert[/name_m] and her crew were all stalked by the mysterious ‘Mr. X’ who brings them all back together in their story.
DYHAC who has been accused of a crime they didn’t commit?
[name_f]My[/name_f] character [name_m]Oli[/name_m] was legally accused of trying to Ahem sell his adoptive being from the dumpster (they’re gender fluid so [name_m]Oli[/name_m] calls them the being from the dumpster when he doesn’t know what gender they are feeling more like today, it’s a joke between them) [name_m]Charlie[/name_m] by Charlie’s bio-mom. These claims were untrue and just made up to try and get Oli’s adoption of [name_m]Charlie[/name_m] voided.
In my newer story [name_m]Liam[/name_m] [name_m]Beck[/name_m] was accused of murder and [name_m]Jax[/name_m] [name_m]Woodley[/name_m] was jailed for four years for kidnapping his niece [name_f]Angelia[/name_f] Portship.
DYHAC who you keep rewriting their lore bc you can’t get their lore just right?
Two, actually. In story one, 23-year-old [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_f]Edelweiss[/name_f] Ravenstein hates her first name because of how “grandma” it sounds, and she’s technically not wrong, since her name honors her late paternal great grandmother, [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f]. However, she’s settled this by instead going by her nickname, [name_f]Dotty[/name_f]. In story two, Kaminari Tsuchiya was born [name_f]Kierra[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] O’Malley, but her hatred of her father led her to disowning her birth name as soon as she turned 18 and renaming herself Kaminari. She fervently dislikes being referred to by her birth name, as it reminds her of her troubled childhood.
DYHAC with relatives guilty of war-related or otherwise heinous crimes?
several from my marvel fanfic
[name_f]Olga[/name_f] [name_f]Francine[/name_f] [name_m]Barton[/name_m] (daughter of [name_m]Clint[/name_m] [name_m]Barton[/name_m] & [name_f]Natasha[/name_f] Romanoff)
[name_f]Tatiana[/name_f] [name_m]Buchanan[/name_m] [name_m]Barnes[/name_m] (daughter of [name_m]Steve[/name_m] [name_m]Rogers[/name_m] & [name_m]Bucky[/name_m] Barnes)
[name_f]Arianwen[/name_f] (daughter of Thanos)
DYHA who have powers that don’t match their personally.
Basically every single one of my characters is in some way similar to me but some examples are Aconito Dolorem - Depression
[name_m]Quincy[/name_m] Griffiths - Internalized Homophobia [name_f]Aeris[/name_f] Zyris Helion - Oneirophobia (fear of dreams and nightmares) [name_f]Arya[/name_f] [name_m]Vance[/name_m] - Constantly Being Tired
Most Of [name_f]My[/name_f] Characters Being Queer [name_m]Or[/name_m] Somewhat Mentally Unstable Is Definitely A Good Example Of How I Express Myself Through [name_f]My[/name_f] Characters
well, not a typical teacher. [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] [name_m]Cyprus[/name_m] protects the princes of the realm, and teaches the eldest basic defense and fighting techniques.
DYHAC with a physical trait that’s very uncommon (or iunheard of)?
Hmm… I suppose I give some of my characters’ names I don’t particularly care for, but the ones I outright dislike are any character named [name_m]John[/name_m] (yes, there’s multiple, but they’re extremely minor characters and they needed a filler name). I personally find [name_m]John[/name_m] to be an overused and boring name, hence why I give it to various irrelevant characters. Also, I have a character named Kahliyah [name_f]Neveah[/name_f] Minton, who’s meant to be that stereotypical weird girl you knew at school as a kid. Thus, I gave first and middle names I don’t like.
DYHAC with a name that’s special to you for one reason or another?
Tace’s name is special because I put so much thought into it. [name_f]Tace[/name_f] means “be silent” in Latin, and though I don’t use the Latin pronunciation, it fits their character so well. Their last name is Airgetlám, the epithet of Nuada in Norse Mythology, which has to do with the basis of the character.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you have any characters who have virtue or word names?
Hmm… there’s the [name_m]Williams[/name_m] family, who have three daughters born to [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] and [name_f]Gertrude[/name_f] [name_m]Williams[/name_m] named [name_f]Lourdes[/name_f] [name_m]Williams[/name_m], [name_f]Trinity[/name_f] [name_m]Williams[/name_m] and [name_f]Charity[/name_f] [name_m]Williams[/name_m]. Additionally, there’s the spunky 14-year-old [name_f]Liberty[/name_f] “Libby” [name_f]Jordyn[/name_f] [name_m]Young[/name_m]. In a completely separate story, there’s [name_f]Constance[/name_f] “Connie” Kahanamoku, a native Hawaiian born to a [name_m]Pacific[/name_m] Islander father and a white Catholic mother. A few characters have virtue middle names, such as [name_f]Skyla[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] Mortenson and her maternal grandmother, [name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f]Temperance[/name_f] Bermingham.
[name_f]Venetia[/name_f] [name_f]Vendetta[/name_f] is probably the best example i have of this as both her first and last name start with V but Vëa Lórë has a V first name and Tyméo [name_m]Valentin[/name_m] Dux [name_f]Via[/name_f] and [name_f]Arya[/name_f] [name_m]Vance[/name_m] have V last names
DYHAC who have very unique rare or even unheard of or made up names
[name_m]Gee[/name_m], I don’t know about that. Virtually every character of mine, major or minor, develops a love interest at some point. I’m just a zealous fan of the romance genre, I suppose. Although this is bending the rules a bit, I do have a pretty prominent character named Evangelos Othonos who never acquires a love interest during his arc in my story, although that may just be because he dies in the end. Very sad.
