Do you know anyone with a name that's "ahead of their time"?

I know a 22-year-old [name]Olive[/name] and a 25-year-old [name]Scarlett[/name], as well as a [name]Lola[/name] in her late 20s and several girls named [name]Lily[/name] or [name]Lillian[/name] in their early 20s. I also know several Michaelas (spelled [name]Michaela[/name], [name]Mikaela[/name], and [name]Micaela[/name]) all in their late 20s (born in the early to mid-80s). I know a 30-year-old [name]Landon[/name], too, and a 25-year-old [name]Mason[/name]. I also know three Isabellas all born between 1985- '87. Also a [name]Mia[/name] who is 23, short for [name]Amelia[/name]. No [name]Ava[/name] or [name]Chloe[/name] or [name]Madison[/name] or [name]Penelope[/name] or [name]Charlotte[/name] though…

I think it’s because I live in NYC, and a lot of these people are also from NYC. I think NY is a bit ahead usually with baby name trends.

I agree, NYC has always been ahead with baby names.

I know a 20-something guy named [name]Reece[/name], and a 17 year old girl named [name]Paxton[/name], who has a sister 15 year old sister named [name]Payton[/name]. I love it when people have names that are ahead of their time!

I’m a 30 year old [name]Abigail[/name]! The whole time growing up I think I only met one or two other Abigails/Abbys. Now they’re all over!

I know a 23 year old [name]Mason[/name], a 25 year old [name]Kaley[/name], and a 23 year old [name]Kailee[/name]. 23 year old [name]Landon[/name], 24 year old [name]Mikayla[/name], 17 year old [name]Braelyn[/name], 22 year old [name]Sophia[/name], 27 year old [name]Jada[/name], 21 year old [name]Skyler[/name], 17 year old [name]Bryson[/name], 23 year old [name]Madison[/name]

Oh I also know a [name]Chloe[/name] who is 19 and 3 Graces in their mid 20s

I’m in Australia and I think we tend to be slightly ahead of [name]America[/name] in terms of name trends (judging by nameberry!). I’m in my mid twenties and know 4 [name]Sophie[/name]'s/[name]Sophia[/name]'s either my age or older, 3 [name]Amelia[/name]'s, 2 [name]Chloe[/name]'s, an [name]Eliza[/name] and about 6 [name]Emily[/name]'s!

I’m a [name]Jasmine[/name] who is 15 years older than most of the other [name]Jasmine[/name]'s I have met! It drives me crazy when I am shopping and I hear mum’s calling their daughters, I think they are talking to me!
Someone mentioned [name]Grace[/name]. [name]Grace[/name] was my Husbands grandma’s name and she would have been 80 this year! I also know a [name]Lily[/name] who just turned 50

My uncle (through marriage) is named [name]Ashton[/name]. He’s 56. It was his mother’s maiden name. His parents were really ahead of the trend, as the name didn’t even enter the Top 1000 until 1982. I know the name has never been ultra popular, but it’s there or thereabouts.

I also know a [name]Lola[/name] (born in 1990, she’s just turned 22), which re-entered the Top 1000 in 2002 (last appeared in 1980) and had a rapid climb up to the early 200s (before dropping a bit last year). Again, it’s not hugely popular, but you hear it more (especially here in NY).

I know a 22 year old [name]Mason[/name], but that’s been mentioned a few times.

Actually, most people tell me that my mom was ahead of her time when she named me. In other areas, people know 20 year old Kylees, but they’re aren’t any my age where I live. I’ve only ever met one and she lives a few hours away. My dad teaches elementary art and it always makes him double take when he meets a little [name]Kylee[/name]/[name]Kylie[/name]. They’re everywhere now. BUT, even better than me being a 20 year old [name]Kylee[/name], there was a [name]Kylee[/name] with my EXACT birth name and birth date born 20 years before me in the same hospital where I was born. So she’s a 40 year old [name]Kylee[/name] now. That’s pretty cool. I’d like to meet her.

16 year old [name]Emma[/name]
Teenage sisters (17 & 14) [name]Madeline[/name] & [name]Olivia[/name], the only ones in our entire highschool full of Ashleys and Alyssas
16 year old [name]Addison[/name] “[name]Addie[/name]”
Teenage brother and sister [name]Evan[/name] and [name]Lilianna[/name] “[name]Lily[/name]”
17 year old [name]Lillian[/name] “[name]Lily[/name]”
17 year old [name]Aubrey[/name]

16 year old [name]Griffith[/name]
10 year old [name]Dominic[/name]
13 year old [name]James[/name]
13 year old [name]Georgia[/name]
17 year old [name]Adeline[/name]
14 year old [name]Ivy[/name]
12 year old [name]Rosalia[/name] “[name]Rosalie[/name]” (while this name might not be that popular yet, I think Twilight is helping it get higher on the rankingsr.)

That’s about it.

There’s a kid in my math class named [name]Silas[/name]. It was really uncommon in the year we were born in ('00), so that counts, right?

Oh! And also there was a girl in several of my classes last year named [name]Ava[/name]. She refused to believe me when I said [name]Ava[/name] was a very popular name because she didn’t know any other Avas. But it was #180 in 2000, so it wasn’t that uncommon…right?

I know a 24 year old [name]MALE[/name] [name]Addison[/name]! Lol. Also 2 23 year old Kylies, 24 year old [name]Evan[/name], and I seriously think about 10 or more Emilys in their mid 20s, I think [name]Emily[/name] got popular my year of birth. Also know a 17 year old [name]Alivia[/name] and an [name]Olivia[/name] in her fifties

i know SIX emmas aged 16, 16, 18, 18, 22 and 21!!! there was an emma boom back in the early nineties!
my friend [name]Eva[/name] (she’s 19) was the only [name]Eva[/name] in the whole school through primary, intermediate and high school and there were NO Avas etc though a few Olivias about. I always thought [name]Eva[/name] was a gorgeous name when i met her! Older sister [name]Imogen[/name] and younger sister [name]Hazel[/name]! how cute is that sibset!

I know an 80 year old [name]Emery[/name] and my mom is [name]Megan[/name], born in the 60’s.

My 16 year old nephew is named [name]Caden[/name]. Our down the street neighbor is an 18 year old [name]Aidan[/name].

I know a twenty year old male [name]Addison[/name], I forgot about him. He actually inspired my love for [name]Addison[/name] (ONLY on a boy, strongly dislike it on a girl).

i met a little girl a few days ago, she was 2 and her name was [name]Skyler[/name]/[name]Skylar[/name]. im not sure which spelling but i though the name was a bit old for her.
