I’m pretty sure most people would pronounce it or-ee-a, like [name_f]Auria[/name_f] or the beginning of [name_f]Oriana[/name_f]. For or-I-a, I’d recommend the spelling Oriah, maybe. [name_f]Oria[/name_f] makes me think of Oreo. I find [name_f]Oriana[/name_f] prettier. [name_f]Oria[/name_f]/[name_f]Auria[/name_f] is pretty, but, I think people would struggle with it too much to make it fully worth it.
Pretty name! But aura immediately came to mind…
I initially pronounced it OR-ee-uh and oreo cookies sprang to mind. The pronunciation or-IE-uh is lovely. It reminds me of the name [name_f]Oriole[/name_f] and of golden birds.
[name_m]Just[/name_m] saw jesba’s comment, that it reminds her of oreo, and I have to agree. Oriah would make pronunciation issues a lot easier too. Or-eye-ah has a very pretty sound, but I don’t like or-ee-a.
I think [name_f]Orla[/name_f] would be a much nicer choice.
I honestly saw [name_f]Orla[/name_f], but I think [name_f]Oria[/name_f] is pretty.
I also like [name_f]Aura[/name_f] and [name_f]Oona[/name_f].
Ooh, I’m definitely intrigued. I like [name_f]Oriana[/name_f] and [name_f]Aria[/name_f], so this feels like a middle ground in a way. pronunciation would be an issue though. I guessed OR-ee-ah. or-EYE-ah is nice too, but reminds me of [name_f]Mariah[/name_f]/Zoraya etc. which I don’t like as much as [name_f]Oriana[/name_f]/[name_f]Aria[/name_f]. Or-EYE-ah also reminds me of Ore-[name_f]Ida[/name_f] [name_m]French[/name_m] fries.
