I dislike it it. It’s trendy and it looks like all the other -ley names out there ([name]Blakely[/name], [name]Brinley[/name]…).

My 6-year-old niece is [name]Ainsley[/name] [name]Nicole[/name], so I love it. It is more trendy now than it was 6 years ago, but I still think it’s sweet and fun – yet can grow up well at the same time.

I think it’s cute, but trendy. I do like it, but I would never use it because of its trendiness.

On another note, my husband didn’t like [name]Ainsley[/name] when my sister used it for my niece. But now he loves it because he loves her. [name]Just[/name] something to keep in mind when receiving family and friend reviews!

I’m not a fan, sorry. To me, it doesn’t feel trendy but dated. I know several Ainsleys (or went to school with several of them a few years ago), and I don’t really know any younger ones. It just feels a bit dated and tired to me, but I can sort of see the appeal. I like it better than some -ley names, for sure. [name]Ainsley[/name] [name]Jane[/name] is quite “[name]ANE[/name]” heavy in sound, though, if you decide to keep it.

Good luck!

I saw on your current faves for boys the name [name]Kieran[/name]…I named my last son [name]Kieran[/name]…I loved it at the time (obviously) but everyone always says, “[name]Karen[/name]?” and looks at him like they don’t understand.

Sorry, but I just automatically think of “anus.” I do love [name]Jane[/name]!
