Do you like the name Chloe?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] ladies. I’ve posted before but just curious about thoughts on the name [name_f]Chloe[/name_f]. People seem to either love it or hate it, lol! My sister thinks of a cat when she hears the name, lol. Well it was my aunts cat 20 years ago so maybe that’s why. I just love the meaning of the name. It means “ to flourish” or “ little green shoot” and after a miscarriage and infertility it seems to fit. Also I just learned the name is in the Bible. I love the sound of it as it sound fun! It’s a timeless name in my opinion but it seems a lot of people think it’s too cutesey and juvenile. I guess I love short, sweet, feminine and classic sounding names so that’s why I like it.
My daughter is [name_f]Lily[/name_f] so I think it would go well with her name .
I want to use a form of [name_f]Anne[/name_f] as the middle name to honor my late [name_f]MIL[/name_f].
I’ll list other name option. [name_m]Just[/name_m] want honest opinions!! My last name is Gustafson btw.
Thank you ladies!

[name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f]
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]

[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f]

I think [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] is really sweet. I also quite like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] and [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f], and [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]. With [name_f]Chloe[/name_f], I prefer the more streamlined [name_f]Anne[/name_f] to [name_f]Annabel[/name_f].

I quite like [name_f]Chloe[/name_f], and [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] is a beautiful combo. [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] are very sweet together.

I love [name_f]Chloe[/name_f]. It’s youthful and fun but still appropriate and lovely on an adult. [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] is my favorite on your list. Good luck.

I love it!! [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] is lovely

[name_f]Chloe[/name_f] has become a modern classic. I really like it and it’s adorable with [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]. [name_m]Even[/name_m] if people think it’s juvenile now, her generation won’t.

I have heard of cats named [name_f]Chloe[/name_f], but that’s true of a lot of popular names. I still love [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] even though there are countless dogs with the name. [name_u]Max[/name_u] and [name_m]Jake[/name_m] are also big for pets, but hasn’t meant they aren’t still used for people. [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] is a far cry from Mittens, Snowball, etc.

While [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] doesn’t suit my personal style, I think it’s a fantastic name. I think it is the perfect sister for [name_f]Lily[/name_f], as well. [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] feels modern, and I would describe it as a modern classic, but it has a lot of history, dating back to ancient Greece. It’s very cute, but also refined.

Thank you, ladies! These comments are very helpful!

I like [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f]. It gets too fussy for me with [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]. [name_f]Claire[/name_f] and [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] are lovely wth [name_f]Lily[/name_f] too - and they’ll age really well - but I like [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] the best I’d say.

I love [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f], very sophisticated sounding.

I like [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Annabel[/name_f], and I like its meaning for you. I also think [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] sounds great with your surname.

Thank you so much for the feedback!

Another vote for [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]-- it’s a great combo and although [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] was quite popular maybe 10 years ago, it’s seem to have died down a bit and revived my love for it-- it has a lovely meaning and a personal one for you too.

I don’t have a strong feeling toward this name either way when i see it used. It’s kind of blah to me. Nothing too special about it in my opinion.

[name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] is my mother’s exact name, spellings and all! There’s nothing flashy about it but it’s a good solid name that you can’t go wrong with. I love when my dad calls her Rach. This is definitely my favorite from your list. [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] would be the most unexpected for a baby born in 2019 from your list.

I like [name_f]Chloe[/name_f]! [name_m]Even[/name_m] though is has the cute ee ending it also feels classy.
It fits perfectly with [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
I prefer [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] but [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] is nice too

I equally like [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] with [name_f]Lily[/name_f]

I adore [name_f]Chloe[/name_f]! The name puts a smile on my face  I really like the combination [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] - very cute and sweet. It’s a perfect name for a baby sister to [name_f]Lily[/name_f]!

I personally like [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] a lot, I wouldn’t use it on my own child because it reads as a little bit dated to me, and that’s some what of a deal breaker for me. But sound wise, meaning wise, etc, I really love it. [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] is gorgeous. If the fact that it has been popular for a while isn’t something you mind than I think it is a lovely choice.

Thank you!

Thanks! I’m not as concerned with being a little popular. At least it’s not [name_f]Emma[/name_f] although I love that name.
