[name]Vada[/name] [name]Simone[/name] [name]Walker[/name]
[name]Vada[/name] [name]Kathrine[/name] [name]Walker[/name]
[name]How[/name] are you pronouncing it? VAH-da isn’t very pretty, but if you want to say VAY-da then people usually spell that [name]Veda[/name] (which, in my opinion, looks less sinister than the [name]Vada[/name] spelling). So I suggest you use [name]Veda[/name].
[name]Veda[/name] [name]Rosemary[/name]
[name]Veda[/name] [name]Miriam[/name]
[name]Veda[/name] [name]Florence[/name]
[name]Veda[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name]
My first association was [name]Star[/name] Wars… sounds like someone slurring “Darth Vader”. With last name [name]Walker[/name], I’d assume you were a huge [name]Star[/name] Wars fan. That’s assuming you’re pn. it VAY-duh.
[name]How[/name] about [name]Vera[/name]? You can pn. it VAIR-uh or [name]VEER[/name]-uh. Or [name]Vega[/name] (VAY-guh)?
I love the name [name]Veda[/name] like in the film “My Girl” but pretty much everyone laughs and makes [name]Star[/name] Wars related jokes when I mention it xxx
Agree that [name]Veda[/name] would be less confusing then [name]Vada[/name] (if you’re going for VAY-da). I think its super pretty. I met a baby last month named [name]Veda[/name] and thought it was so sweet and unique. Of your choices I like [name]Veda[/name] [name]Katherine[/name] best.
I don’t like it much.
i agree with the first post, i’d go with [name]Veda[/name]. it makes me think of the movie My Girl but i absolutely love that name.
I really like the name [name]Vada[/name] but prefer it spelled [name]Veda[/name]. The combo of [name]Vada[/name] [name]Katherine[/name] is pretty.
The first thing that comes to mind is Darth Vader.
Also, [name]Vada[/name] in [name]India[/name], especially when spelled [name]Vada[/name] in [name]Roman[/name] letters and pronounced VAH-da, is a kind of savory doughnut served for breakfast or a snack! If you are pronouncing it “VEY-da” and spelling it [name]Vada[/name], you are probably going to confuse some Indians!
I guess it depends on your interest in the name. If you like the meaning of [name]Veda[/name] as “knowledge” from the Sanskrit word, then stick with the traditional transliteration from [name]India[/name] of [name]Veda[/name] with an “e”. If you like it more in its American context as an old-fashioned sounding nickname-name popular in the last century, then spell it however you want and tell people to go dunk their doughnuts!
I love [name]Veda[/name] [name]Simone[/name]…that spelling. The meaning is very nice.
I like [name]Veda[/name] quite a bit as well. It doesn’t make me think of [name]Star[/name] Wars at all, but it does make me think of the movie My Girl. Great name, though!
I pronounce it VAY-da and prefer the spelling [name]Veda[/name] as its a bit easier to read the pronunciation. I think [name]Veda[/name] is beautiful and very religious and ethereal. It reminds me of [name]Vita[/name]/[name]Vida[/name] or “life,” although its meaning is “knowledge,” which i thing is an amazing characteristic to bestow on a girl. [name]Veda[/name] [name]Katherine[/name] is my favorite.
I adore [name]Veda[/name] but not much Of a [name]Vada[/name] fan… [name]Veda[/name] [name]Simone[/name] is very pretty!
I love [name]Veda[/name]!!!
It also makes me think of [name]Star[/name] Wars…sorry! But, if I had to pick it, I would spell it [name]Veda[/name] as opposed to [name]Vada[/name].
[name]Vada[/name] makes me think of the word “vapid” or “vatta,” the Ayuravedic medicine element of air. So it sounds a bit… hollow to me.
[name]Veda[/name] is a lovely name. [name]Veda[/name] [name]Simone[/name] is very close to [name]Nina[/name] [name]Simone[/name], but I still like it.
[name]Ah[/name] - I see you’d pronounce [name]Veda[/name] “VAY-dah,” not [name]Vita[/name]?
