My husband and I are trying to determine baby names. We are set on [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] as a double name for a little girl. We are fairly set on [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_u]Ellington[/name_u] (going by just [name_m]Brooks[/name_m]) for a boy. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you all like [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_u]Ellington[/name_u]? If not, other middle name options.
I don’t dislike [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_u]Ellington[/name_u]… but it does sound kind of like a consulting firm or an upscale clothing company. That would be my only hesitation, and in that case a less surname-y middle would resolve the issue. Totally guessing on style, but something like [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] or [name_u]Elias[/name_u] might have a similar overall sound.
I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]Brooks[/name_m], but not [name_u]Ellington[/name_u]. I think it’s a little bit of a mouthful for a little boy, or for any age in general. Something similar? I love [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Eli[/name_m]. Short but sweet.

[name_m]How[/name_m] do you all feel about [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Lucas[/name_m]? It’s not quite so much, plus it’s my husband’s middle name. Does it work well with [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and on its own?
I love [name_m]Brooks[/name_m]! [name_u]Ellington[/name_u] is not my style, but it flows well.
