We names our little guy [name]Lucian[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] and I just love it. Go for it!
It has a dark vibe for me.
Sorry to your hubby, but it sounds like [name]Lucifer[/name] to me too. I don’t believe in that stuff anymore, but I will never be able to erase those childhood stories from my memory. If it was my choice I’d veto that name. It will have really scary, negative connotations to many people who were raised with some form of the bible.
It does have kind of a dark, edgy vibe for me but I adore this name. I think that’s what attracts me to it more actually. It sounds like the name an attractive bad-boy would have. I also really love [name]Lucius[/name], though I do think a lot of people’s first thoughts would be Malfoy.
It’s quite matchy with [name]Leo[/name] for my taste, but if you love it I would say go for it! Also, [name]Lucien[/name] [name]Theodore[/name] is stunning! Two of my favorite names!
I think it’s deliciously dark, a little like [name]Violet[/name]. [name]Violetta[/name] and [name]Lucas[/name] dance in the bright light, [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Lucien[/name] come out after the sun goes down…
Thanks for the opinion guys. Yall kind of confirmed my thoughts on the name. I am not really going for dark and edgy and I am not really convinced it goes well with [name]Leo[/name].

I don’t think it sounds evil at all, it means “light” after all.
I do think it sort of sounds evil because it reminds me of [name]Lucius[/name], which I associate with [name]Lucius[/name] Malfoy and he’s pretty evil. I don’t think of [name]Lucifer[/name] at all.
[name]Lucien[/name] doesn’t go very well with [name]Leo[/name].
