Would Hollow make a good girl’s name?
It is starting to really grow on me.
I like the sound it makes - big fan of [name]Willow[/name] - but the connotation would be negative. A hallow person would be void of a soul, or heart or brains.
Yeah, I immediately thought “airhead,” basically. Can see your point on the sound being pretty.
Hallow is actually different – that means something more like holy, so it’s more positive, although maybe “too much” and it sounds like marshmallow, and hollow.
[name]Harlow[/name] is a trendy name right now that might hit some of the same notes and is pretty.
Also [name]Marlo[/name], [name]Willow[/name], [name]Yarrow[/name], [name]Holly[/name], [name]Hollis[/name] all come to mind.

Hollow as a given name probably isn’t a good one, given it’s meaning. I like the suggestion of Hallow instead, even though it reminds me of mallow, which, in turn, makes me think marshmallow.

I think of [name]Hollis[/name] more for a boy.
