Do you think.....

For those of not expecting or planning on trying for a while, do you think you will actually use your current top names? [name]How[/name] long have they been your top names?

Well I’m expecting but all of the top names i like now, I will probably end up using one of the same names I have loved for years.

If my husband says he loves one of my favorites, it gets gold stars and put into a list of its own. Those are the names I’m most likely to use. So, [name]Theodore[/name], for instance, is almost certainly going to be the boy’s name we use should we ever have another boy. No girl’s names yet though.

There’s a couple of names that have been on my list for years that Most likely I’d use. But the rest of them change pretty frequently and I might like them this week and not next. and since I’m not planning on having children anytime soon, I most likely won’t use those names

I don’t think I’ll use my top names and combos when I do have kids. My taste tends to change a lot. When I first got into names I liked [name]Marley[/name], [name]Charley[/name], [name]Harley[/name], [name]Kayden[/name], [name]Mackenzie[/name] etc. Which now I really dislike. In a few years my top names will probably seem really odd and unusable, though I do dread the day when I won’t like [name]Rita[/name], [name]Meredith[/name], [name]Audrey[/name], [name]Miranda[/name], [name]Cormac[/name] and [name]Dante[/name].

I like names from almost all different styles. (I never really know if I’ll like a name until I hear it.) But as much as I hear new names (and I have A LOT since I became a berry!), I can still only picture 6 different name combos for a possible child.

[name]Benjamin[/name] [name]Douglas[/name] - I really like [name]Benjamin[/name] nn [name]Benji[/name] or [name]Ben[/name] and [name]Douglas[/name] is my dad’s name
[name]Jackson[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] - I know both are pretty popular, but I still love both
[name]Josiah[/name] [name]Joseph[/name] - nn [name]JoJo[/name] (I picture him as a twin to [name]Malachi[/name])
[name]Malachi[/name] [name]Ry[/name]??? - nn KaiRy (not sure which spelling I like better for the nn, pn kye-rye), I love that nn but haven’t found a boy name starting with [name]Ry[/name]— that I like very much. I don’t really mind [name]Ryan[/name], but I don’t like [name]Ryder[/name], [name]Rylan[/name], [name]Ryland[/name], [name]Ryker[/name] or [name]Riley[/name]/[name]Reilly[/name]/etc.
[name]Peyton[/name] [name]Marguerite[/name] - [name]Peyton[/name] is very unisex for me, which I really don’t like, so I’d probably find another name that sounded good with [name]Marguerite[/name] (I want to honor my grandma, and don’t like her fn of [name]Iola[/name])

All of this said, I’m not dating much less married, so it’ll be a while before I have kids. And then I’d have to take my husband’s opinions into account. If it were solely up to me, though, these would be the names!

I’ve wanted to use the name [name]Tabitha[/name] for a girl for about ten years now. I don’t want kids any time soon, but I would love to use it. Although my future husband would probably have to have some say in it…

I’m not expecting for a few years now, but I think I can accurately say I will use my top name [name]Alexander[/name]. [name]Alexander[/name] has been my favorite name for maybe five years and I have never heard another name that has come close to my love for [name]Alexander[/name]. [name]Owen[/name] was my only grandfather’s middle name and I absolutely adore it alone and with [name]Alexander[/name] . . . however that middle name has changed a few times so I have no idea if it will change again.

My second combo, [name]Mark[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] has only been in my favorites for a year or two, but I do have a strong passion for it. I may lose my love for [name]Mark[/name], but [name]Thomas[/name] being my fiance’s father’s name will probably stay forever. From there, [name]Jack[/name], [name]Evan[/name], and [name]Adam[/name] are all great boy names . . . but I probably will have “moved on” by the time I have a third/fourth/fifth son! haha

For girl’s I’m 100% certain I will not use my favorite names. I’m already losing interest in [name]Bridget[/name], [name]Leah[/name], AND [name]Paige[/name] - which are the only names I love. [name]Claire[/name] will almost definitely be the first girls’ middle name, however and I’m really starting to [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Soleil[/name] (as it’s a reference to my own last name).

And on one last note, my fiance loves [name]Alexander[/name] [name]Owen[/name], [name]Mark[/name] [name]Thomas[/name], [name]Evan[/name] ____, and ____ [name]Claire[/name] . . . so that makes the possibility of using them in the future even higher.

[name]Ingrid[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name] has been one of my favourite combos for years. The first names have differed though, a couple of years ago I preferred [name]Giulia[/name] [name]Ingrid[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name], then came [name]Maude[/name] [name]Ingrid[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name], then came [name]Philippa[/name] [name]Ingrid[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name] and now it’s [name]Anna[/name] [name]Ingrid[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name]. I reckon I’ll stick to [name]Anna[/name], but you never know. However I’m pretty sure I’ll still love [name]Ingrid[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name] when I have kids.

I think it’s fairly likely since we’re not too far off from starting to try, at the soonest about 6 months! Crazy! But I think my fiance will like most of the names I like. Definitely going to get a list from him once we really start planning and compromise on what we both like. I’m hoping he will like my favorites as much as I do but I’m not opposed to new ideas if there’s something he likes a lot.

I doubt it. It will be at least 10 years before I have kids and at the rate my favourite names are changing I doubt I will still love them anywhere as much. However I do think I will use the family names ([name]William[/name], [name]Rosemary[/name], [name]Leah[/name], [name]Genevieve[/name], [name]Seth[/name] and [name]Mya[/name]) that I use in almost all my favourite combos now.

I think [name]Owen[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] would be very handsome.

I think I will, I’m not expecting, nor will I likely for at least 6 years, but I do think it’s very possible they’ll be used.

My top names are pretty sturdy imo, and aren’t GPs.
([name]Alessandra[/name], [name]Victoria[/name], [name]Katerina[/name], [name]Olivia[/name], [name]Elena[/name] are the top 5 for girls. [name]Nathaniel[/name], [name]Henry[/name], [name]Eden[/name], [name]Leo[/name], [name]Eric[/name] for boys.)

I tend to love names for a years at a time, so it’s very possible. And if I end up with children with my current SO, then they’ll definitely be used. He loves a lot of these names as much as I do, and even grows attached to them as if they already exist.

He’s referenced to our potential first child as “[name]Nathaniel[/name]” a handful of times.

Well, [name]Elliot[/name] has been with me for years, so I imagine that I will use that one. The others are a little more up in the air–girls especially. I change girl’s names like I change socks.
