In regards to [name]Sydney[/name], I think all three meanings are legitamate. My baby name book lists the meaning as wide meadow, this was were I first saw it. From what I can gather I think it orginated as a place name from the French, but in its English form it can mean wide meadow or wide island.
[name]Even[/name] though it can be a boys name too I still think of [name]Sydney[/name] as being quick pretty and feminine… might just be me. I also like it spelt [name]Cydney[/name].
