I think [name]Aubrey[/name] is a gorgeous name that sounds informal and friendly, but not so informal that it should be a nickname for another name. I think it’s the perfect balance.
Informal, though it walks the line. For YEARS I assumed (incorrectly) that it was a nickname for [name]Auburn[/name].

I have to say I don’t like it though; all I think about is [name]Aubrey[/name] Beardsley, who was a slightly odd (and male) Victorian artist who painted grotesque erotica!
